Ordered this product after much research, and I am SO happy I went with it! I love the eco friendly credentials of the mat and the ethos of EcoYoga. It is exactly as described and more! Lovely natural colour which I find calming and perfect for my practice. The texture is really grippy, both on the floor and on the feet and hands (I have tried it on a carpet and it works well there too!). The more you sweat during power yoga, the more grippy it goes which is exactly what I'd hoped for (I don't do any hot/Bikram yoga so not tried it there). The jute in the mat is perfect - textured but not rough. The pure rubber side of the mat is perfect for folding over when doing any knee/elbow/head work. The support is sufficient for all the types of practice I do (although I don't have any particular joint injuries so can't comment on that aspect), with versatility provided by folding. It has a lovely, delicate coconut/natural scent when you put you head/nose on it (as in child's pose) not at all smelly or unpleasant. It is relatively heavy, but this is something I wanted as I like to feel secure on a heavier mat. There is absolutely no movement on it in any pose, even if it's on carpet or on a blanket on top of wood floor. I had no contact with the seller directly as I had no need to - the mat came beautifully packaged and arrived a day earlier than expected - it took 72 hours to come!! So pleased all round!!!

It is good but bits come off in your clothes every time!

This mat is perfect in every way except it could just be a little bit more padded when on a hard floor.grip wise is the best ive ever used! its also hard wearing. the smell is a bit strong at first like fishy rubber but it fades quite quickly. Its perfect for use on carpet but i might invest in the thinner (travel one) and lay it over another mat when the classes start again on a hard floor.

Good non slip surface but tiny pieces of rubber are still coming off the surface after 4 months of use. Clothes always covered in bits after yoga class.

This matt is disintegrating. It leaves bits all over my room, my clothes, bits of it get everywhere. I emailed the company about it and they said that that is normal. The thing is, is something environmentally friendly needs to last! as the energy going in to making things is high! if this starts disintegrating after a few months this is hardly eco friendly. Sad to say I'm really disappointed in the product and the response from the company who sold it to me.

Luxurious mat but very heavy and large. Check refund policy as obliged to pay for returning mat. Won’t be using them again.
