Perfect for Lifetime Tamarack 100
The kayak usually gets my butt wet when I go out. These scupper plugs work great And are a good fit. My butt doesn’t get wet anymore, unless I spill my drink.

I bought a boat that is rated for a 150hp motor. The seller told me that the 150 was too heavy for the boat so he traded the 150 for a 90 etec so that the water didn't back up through the scuppers. These things did the trick. Problem is now I have to get a 150 back on the boat because the 90 is way too underpowered, so these plugs could cost me a lot more money than I thought it would.

Not to bad. The rubber is very stiff so if the drain holes edges aren't perfectly smooth they have a hard time creating a water tight seal. Overall seem to get the job done alright.

The listing for this product can be misleading in that it displays 4 plugs in the photo and states "set of 2" in the product description. After receiving only two plugs in the mail (but expecting four) I went back and scrutinized the listing a bit more and can see they are not very forthright in letting you know you're only getting 2 plugs for the price of 8.99. 4 plugs will cost you 13.99.

You probably need more than 4
Good quality product, not too firm and just pliable enough to wedge into scupper holes just right for a nice snug fit. I'm very happy with them. My only gripe is that your forced to buy packs of 4 when its obvious that only 6 will be needed. But I guess having a couple spares isnt a bad thing either.

Not A Great Fit
Unfortunately they did not fit the scupper holes in my husband's kayak and needed to be modified to work. Looking into another brand that maybe is a little more malleable than these very hard plastic.

Work
These work for storage but prob won't use them while kayaking. I was surprised by how heavy and dense rubber they were. I bought some new ones that have a "cup" design that catches water better and are more flexible.

It plugs the hole
Always looking for a deal, I bought a new kayak that was missing one of the plastic drains leaving a one inch hole in the top of the bow. This plug fit tight and well but had a lot of plug sticking up. A simple fix by sawing the top third off with a serrated knife.

Plug works but the rope handle acts like a straw!
Plug works great in Pelican tandem kayak. However the rope/string handle basically sucks the water up like a straw. I needed to spray flex seal to keep all water out of kayak.

Great price for product
Wish the green were the same price as the red but they work in my pelican sonic sit on top kayak

Good quality. Ordered them for our single kayak, then a second set for our tandem. Exactly what we needed.
