Full size strawberries
Why did you pick this product vs others?: Yum! Full size strawberries! Fun crunch like the candies that are freeze dried without the sugar. I'd buy again.

Fresh and Crunchy, But Unsecure Bag
I was a little skeptical about these freeze-dried strawberries at first because of the zip-lock bag, but once I tried them, I was hooked. They taste super fresh and not at all overly sweet like some freeze-dried fruits can be. The strawberries keep their shape well, and while they’re solid at first, they soften up in your mouth and taste just like biting into a fresh strawberry. They’re also pretty crunchy, which is a fun texture. The bag they come in is a bit of a downside, though. The resealable part is nice, but there's no way to tell if it’s been opened before you get it, which had me a little cautious. Still, the taste makes up for it, and the bag is packed full, so you get plenty to munch on. Just wish the storage was a little more secure.

Food Safe?
These freeze dried strawberries from China are packed in a zip top bag with no heat or tamper-proof seal — you know, the top part of the bag you have to peel away at the notch to reveal the zipper. They could have been opened at any point in their journey and then zipped shut again. I don't believe I've ever seen a food item mass marketed for the U.S. that didn't have a protective seal of some sort. As a result, I don't have a lot of confidence in this product.
