Surprisingly durable, needs a few improvements
This 12' x 20' canopy has survived 3 windstorms, and does OK with up to 8" light snow, and that's with both 6" and 1' extensions on the legs. I do have it anchored to a nearby tree, and put my own 25 lb. weights on 4 corners, which have moved a couple feet in a strong gust, so I just poured in-ground concrete footings with tie down loops. The weight bags it comes with fit loosely so you'd need a way to tie or clamp them to be effective. The 8 plastic tarp hooks and elastic broke the first year, so first I duct taped them, then I got a grommet kit and put in 2 grommets with bungees on each pole held with an SS clamp. The 2" extension bolts rusted and stuck out, so I've replaced the 16 of them with SS 1-3/4" bolts with cap nuts. The corner brace brackets just fit loosely on the pipes, and the 4 lower ones filled with water and caused streaks of rust. So I drilled drain holes in those 4, and caulked them well into place with clear RV caulk, so they stay dry inside and resist sliding. I added a bamboo diagonal brace and now it's quite firm and sturdy. The ball and bungee system is quick to put up, but if you get much snow, it creates a dip right above the cross bar, so it's better to run the bungees over the bar, and also coat the tarp with 303 or silicone spray to help snow slide off. One end did collapse when we got 9" of heavy snow and I didn't pull it off in time. The end I tied nylon cord across did not collapse, so this year I'm adding ratchet straps all around. I was able to straighten or shorten the 10 poles that got bent. I added 2' plumbing pipes, glued in with JB weld, to get it high enough to back the camper under it on the truck. This is a very sturdy frame, great corner brackets, good quality tarp, just needs reinforcement if you get extreme weather.

Easy to assemble. Feels sturdy. Make sure it's secure.
I bought this to keep a convertible car covered year-round in a very sunny driveway. Putting this together was fairly easy. The assembly instructions could be a little more detailed, but it's not too difficult to figure it all out. The product video gives you hints about assembly, but it would be nice to have a more detailed step-by-step set of pictures or even a full video to make it simpler. I advise that you take a few minutes to take everything out of the box and lay it all out on the ground to plan out the assembly. In total it took my wife and me about 90 minutes in total to get it assembled and in position. All the poles, connectors, and bungee feel solid and durable. It's a nice touch that they include 2 pairs of gloves, as some of the pole ends are a little jagged/sharp. The roof cover seems like it might be a bit thin, but we'll see how it holds up over time through the seasons and direct sunlight. They include a lot of hardware to secure the canopy when it's all assembled, including weight bags, ground pegs, and rope - all of it feels strong and sturdy. It's not convenient for me to secure the foot bases to a slab or to the ground, so I'm relying on weights at the base of each leg. The weight bags are sturdy and easy to fill. I used sand, and the 4 included bags held 50lbs of sand combined. I'll get another 4 to secure all of the legs, and will likely get bigger weight bags to make it more secure. For now I've strapped the corner poles to cinder blocks. I'll likely find a way to use the included ropes to secure it all even further. Once everything was put together and the legs secured, it felt very sturdy and solid. I've had it for just a few weeks and it has already been subjected to 30+ mile per hour winds, a lot of rain, below freezing temperatures, and a little snow. Everything has held together nicely, it hasn't moved, and the roof cover is in great shape. I'll probably add a solar light kit to it at some point.

Great Product & Excellent Customer Service!
I use this canopy as a cover for my pontoon boat. I installed it right next to my garage. The height adjusts from 9.5 to 11 feet, which was ideal for the extra height I needed. I was able to assemble and install it by myself. The assembly of the frame was very logical and well designed, and all the parts fit together well. I had one part of the assembly I didn't quite comprehend, but I contacted customer support and they replied right away and explained it to me. After 9 months, the canopy has held up very well and does not leak at all. Recently I backed into and bent one of my leg poles, and once again contacted them and they responded right away and sent a replacement for a small charge. I highly recommend this canopy for protection of your boats or vehicles, and their great customer service is a plus!

Good with Rain or light Snow, Wind NO........Great Product Support
This Carport Canopy wasn't hard to setup even by myself. I put the Canopy Cover on before installing the legs. You have to tie the frame to side supports for any steady wind that blows. I had the legs bolted to a concrete pad so they wouldn't move but with the heat baking the light rope that comes with the kit and the wind we had this week the ropes snaped and half of the legs bent at the top of the tubes and two of the tubes supporting the top bent where I tried to tie it with new rope in the middle of the storm. Now for the top itself It held up fine and is ready to go If I find something to use it on. Update Information.. If you have issues with this Carport you can expect great Product Support, they were quick at sending replacement tubes to get it back to working order. Having said that I will be using it in some other way then parking my nice car under it during bad weather.
