Myakka Mallani Carved Sheesham Solid Wood, Contemporary Nest of Tables

Like many I was very hesitant about buying furniture unseen online. Even though I read all the positive reviews for this company I was still unsure and drove hubby up the proverbial wall constantly asking "what do you think", "do you think they'll be ok?" Finally he'd had enough and told me to either order them or stop talking about them so I took a deep breath and placed my order.To say I am delighted is an understatement and I am not someone easily pleased... After only a few days I received a very polite and friendly telephone call from the company asking me when it would be convenient to deliver. The tables arrived extremely well packaged and are really superb - I am amazed at the quality for such a reasonable price. The smallest table is quite dinky but charming nevertheless.A full catalogue of company products was included with my order and I think proof of my satisfaction is that I have already chosen a bookcase and hall mirror that I shall be ordering very soon.

This is a difficult review. We love these little tables. They are solid, sturdy and chunky. They really are so useful and would fall into the 'just the job' category, but...I seem to recall something somewhere, about the wood not being treated and could mark easily. They do! I'd just unpacked them and was so pleased, when my dog wandered over and well, she slobbered on the main table. INSTANT STAIN...and that was it. This was a couple of years ago and all of the tables now are really wretched, but still so very practical, especially as we have moved to cottage where space is limited. Of course we meant to use coasters, but well, we forgot most of the time. I intend to rub them down and try to restain or paint and then add a sealing, tough topcoat! Unless the design of these tables has changed - ie; wood treated against stains and marks, in the last two years, please be very aware of using coasters or table mats. (Oh and keep slobbery dogs - and maybe humans - away!) I still love them, though!

I ordered these tables due to their unusual appearance (curved legs) and their colour as I needed them to match existing furniture (which is cherrywood). I was not disappointed ! The colour and grain on these tables is lovely. A little dull perhaps, and my only 2 quibbles would be that the legs on the smallest table are not curved at all, and it really is tiny. My own fault - I should have got a tape measure out! Myakka phoned me to arrange delivery and the items arrived when they were supposed to, and were packaged extremely well.

I was delighted with my nest of tables a little smaller than I anticipated even tho I measured them,lovely wood colour. I will be ordering again from Myakka.

These look very rustic in the flesh and quite rough around the edges, not quite the shiny product shown in the picture, most disappointing of all is that you literally only need to put a mug or glass down for a second and you get a ring mark which we've learnt the hard way. Overall, they look very worn and used in very little time at all. Ironically, the picture from the manufacture includes a mug and plate which no doubt caused there's top have rings marks too!

Liked the look of the design and the good reviews. Tables came promptly well packaged and solidly built. Quite small but do the job.

Great looking tables, with an antistic bend to each leg. Build quality of fantastic and they don't stain easily if well treated, They next nicely into each other too

I am really impressed with these tables. They look lovely, beautifully designed and made to a very high standard. Cannot fault them in any way. Delivered quickly too. I wouldn't hesitate to buy other items made by this firm.
