Actually pretty good!
I actually love this guitar. I play it every day. I've had it for about 2 months, maybe a little longer. Anyway, I figured the novelty of this would have worn off by now, but I honestly play this every day. The piano is spot on; the banjo and bass are pretty decent. All around, it's worth it. I should add that it holds a nice charge so far. I've only had to charge it about half a dozen times, and every time it took a full charge. And if you put it down and forget to shut it off ,in a few minutes it shuts itself right down. Very helpful. The Bluetooth capability on it is pretty wild. You can just link it to your phone and play along with any YouTube video.

I'm so enjoying this guitar!
I used to play guitar. A lot of guitar. Even though we have a house full of recorders, dulcimers, autoharps, flutes... Still, when I wanted to relax, I always grabbed one of the guitars. As I got older, it got harder and harder to play Rheumatism was taking my hands away, and I no longer had the strength to push down on the strings. Then one day I put the guitars away for good. I was reconciled to never being able to play again, until I saw a video for the Aero band guitar on YouTube. I watched more, and weighed the pros and cons. About three days ago I took the plunge and ordered the guitar. I have been playing for an hour to two hours a day ever since it got here, and there is no pain in my wrists or fingers! It took a couple of hours to stop trying to press down on the strings (old habits die hard), but it is getting better. I was going to wait a couple of weeks before writing this, but I decided not to wait. This was the best decision I have made in a long time. Review stuff. The build is good and solid, and nothing about the guitar feels cheap, or flimsy. It looks good as well. I have read reviews trashing the sound quality, but I am not hearing it. Perhaps some reviewers are comparing the sound quality to a high-priced DAW, but I'm not doing that. I am happy with the sound. The only issue I have come up against is getting my DAW to recognize the guitar, but that's just a matter of going through the process of installing it manually. All told, I am very happy with the guitar, especially since it allows me to play again.

It will help pass the time this Winter
It is what is is. It isn't a guitar. it is a MIDI device. It produces guitar like sounds and recreates sounds from other instruments. The absence of even a simple guitar strap is a annoyance at the least. I don't know if I will download the "APP" as I do not like phones in any capacity. There should at the very least be a physical book with actual tabs and exercises for beginners. It will help pass the time this Winter.

Lifeless Sound
As soon as I started playing I noticed that the strings sound somewhat muffled (short sustain). The sound is similar to what I had with my Ibanez AX-120 electric guitar when new. The fix fir that was a new nut, a fix that obviously does not apply here. I can also hear a sound similar to fret buzz, mainly from the low strings. It's not loud but it is audible. This is the case regardless of the instrument (sound) I select. Interesting that the sample sound I hear when I change instruments or when I turn the guitar ON/OFF is brighter, with longer sustain. I am not touching the mute bar. I can hear the difference when I touch the mute bar. Preparing the guitar for a return.

Best toy I've ever had
This thing is so much fun! This is the absolute best gift for any guitarist, no matter their skill level. And the best feature, IMHO, is I can plug it into any guitar amp. It does not play exactly like a guitar but still really fun.

Sounds GREAT, easy to play.
This guitar is like nothing I’ve ever seen before. It is absolutely amazing. It has all the sounds I need and more. It’s easy to play and it’s inspiring to find new chords and progressions. I LOVE this guitar. I recommend it for beginners because it doesn’t hurt your fingers to play. AeroBand, a name to remember.

I wish I could recommend it but it kind of sucks :/
I do genuinely like this guitar, but it’s very touchy and hard to work with, plus some of the advertising seems a bit shady to me. Aeroband had a lot of advertising that preached this guitar to be a great start for beginners, which it does have an app for teaching guitar, I’ll give them that, but this guitar is missing a lot of features that make it impossible to be truly expressive in playing songs correctly. This guitar cannot bend notes, this guitar cannot do vibrato, and although it technically can do hammer ons, it’s off by default and you have to use the app to enable hammer ons (which disables the “easy chord” option, btw) which is almost not worth it considering how difficult it is to get an actually a good performance out of this thing. Trust me, I have actually gone on stage with it at a local open mic. The only reason why I’m keeping this guitar is purely because I happen to write music in a fairly unique genre where I mix real guitar and synthesizer, so being able to play an actual guitar riff with this guitar‘s MIDI function is very useful to me. Other than that, this guitar is junk for anyone that wants to genuinely take guitar seriously I mean, come on, with not being able to bend the notes of this guitar, you can’t play Another Brick in the Wall by Pink Floyd, Enter Sandman by Metallica, Johnny Be Goode by Chuck Berry, Welcome to the Jungle by Guns n Roses, or a lot of other classic songs. Oh, and to top it all off, there’s no distortion setting at all. All of the settings are as follows: two different tones for acoustic guitar, one electric country guitar, one pop guitar, one classical nylon guitar, one bass guitar, piano, claviet and banjo. There is no clean or direct feed emulation option, or any way to do custom samples. You can’t headbang with any of those lol

At the ripe old age of 62 I finally decided to tackle a bucket list item to learn how to play guitar. After 8 months of practising religiously, I took the plunge and purchased the Aero Guitar. It has been a game changer. During my first 8 months, I focused on some finger fret board exercises along with learning 6 basic popular chords and strumming patterns using a regular acoustic guitar. Progress was slow but steady. Since switching to the Aero guitar, I have noticed significant and quicker progress in my learning process. It is easier to play than a regular guitar and made learning easier with the app. Other reviews on this site knock this guitar for what it can’t do in comparison to a regular guitar, but what about what it CAN do in comparison to a regular guitar? It is highly customizable via the app, and the ability to play both an acoustic sound or an electric guitar sound at the press of a button is amazing. No need for an amplifier with the built in speaker, making it highly portable. I HIGHLY recommend this for anyone but especially beginners

Awesome instrument, does lots of things a regular guitars can’t do. The new up dates for Hammer On’s and Slides is great. Works as advertised!
