Bought an old Taco for use around the farm and locally, Needs tons of work but no A/C was killing the cool vibe. (The kids didn't want to ride with me in it) So I did a little research and figured I would try and replace just the clutch. (Toyota wanted crazy money jst to look at it) I made the job aesier on myself by not replacing the magnet.... And I used the original snap rings. Job was easy and straight forward, Air blows ice cold now!....I did need to add en extra shim to get the air gap right but no biggie.

Everything looked good out of the box, clutch worked well, but here are the issues I had installing. Again, 2008 Tacoma 4.0 4x4.The snap ring for the magnet was not correct, had to re-use the old one. Not a big dealThe bullet connector on the magnet was smaller than the OEM and I had to swap a new male bullet connector onto the new magnet to get it to connect properly.If you are mechanically inclined enough to be swapping this clutch, then you should have no problem with the two small issues I had.Otherwise, product worked and resolved my blinking A/C light issue.

This fits perfect on a 2005 tacoma.

The coil, pully, and clutch plate all fit. But the ring to hold the coil was bigger than OEM and the spacers outer diameter were too large. Had to order different ones.Everything else was fine.I wouldn't use this company again.

This product was advertised to work with the 2007 Tacoma, but it didn’t fit. By the time I got the money to have the part installed, and finding out it’s the wrong part, I tried to return but Amazon said it was too late…

My A/c light was always blinking and did not cool the vehicle. This was installed on my 2006 Tacoma two weeks ago 15/05/22 and is still working. Thanks to this, no more complaining about the heat.

After damaging the pulley I had no choice but to put this one on. I had 2 problems with this kit during the install. 1st the large Snap ring was too thick and would not fit onto the shaft so I had to reuse the old one. 2nd the positive wire did not fit into wire harness so I had to cut the old connector off and splice it on to the new part to make everything work. I hope this kit holds up.
