Perfect fit for Jet AFS-1000B shop air filter.
Did not have to alter anything as the replacement filter fit perfectly. Seems better made than the old original filter it replaced.

As Perfect OEM as you would expect.
Perfect, as one would expect from an OEM item.Some try to run their cleaners without the inner filter, but you are just not capturing all the dust.The item is not as shown - the new filters are long and narrow, 3 from top to bottom.

Not sure about quality
I have a JDS air cleaner and can't find filters specifically for it, so I ordered this one. Seems much cheaper than what I had in it, and quite frankly maybe didn't need to replace since I just have a hobby shop in my basement. I had the original in it and these little streamers off the back end to indicate air flow. Started to see a drop on the one side so I ordered. I had to spray silicone on the foam around the metal frame to get it to slide in okay. Streamers showing more air flow for sure, but the thin material on the filter leaves me wondering. Couldn't actually find specs on this filter, but Jets Air Cleaner info says 1 mircron. Hmmm. How aggravating to have a JDS product that way on the market be for Jet and now impossible to get parts. Of course not the first time I've owned machinery that then the brand goes out of business. JDS was great stuff in the day so I can't figure it out. With much of this stuff all you can get are cheaply made China crap and do I want to trust my health to that? Just for someone else's profit line?

Good as New
This filter is the “guts” of the Jet air cleaner. The outer filter should be changed often (I use big box economy furnace filters) and the inner filter can be washed once in a while. Eventually, the inner filter will deteriorate and need replacement. This replaced the original, so I got a lot of mileage out of that one and I am pleased to say that the replacement looks like it will stand the test of time as well. Fit was perfect, as one would expect from an OEM product. All in all, I’m well pleased with the renewal.

Sheerness? Uh, no
Amazon needs to work on their algorithm for reviews... They are suggesting I use words "sheerness", "thickness" and "warmth" to describe this filter for my wood shop. Well, I can tell you none of those descriptions apply, however it does fit my shapely Jet air cleaner very nicely!

My old filter was alittle different but this fight perfect.. old filter was vertical this is horizontally but fights and work
