Moleskines are my preferred notebooks and journals. I have been using them for years. The Moleskine paper is especially good for notes writing in ballpoint or rollerball pens, including gel. The majority of my writing is done with fountain pens, LAMY and Platinum. I only write on one side of the page with my fountain pens as the ink is heavier and can bleed through at times. This isn't a problem with faster drying inks. One feature of Moleskine journals is often overlooked. The last 14 to 15 pages of the journal are perforated and can be removed without compromising the other half of the page in the journal. In most journals, if you tear a page out it separates and the sewn binding and the other half of the page falls out, too. These are handy for recording information you don't want as permanent record or making notes you want to remove and give away or take with.

With so many of the frequently used journals for bullet journaling costing $20+ just for one, this is really a lot more affordable. I love the grid style paper because it makes it easy to line everything up exactly as it should be. It provides more of a guide than ruled paper and me plus a blank sheet of paper is just a no go so this really is perfect. The cover is sturdy and is not paper based so it holds up to getting a little wet a lot better than a regular notebook. It is not waterproof though so still exercise caution. The sheets of paper are sewn in, not glues, which is really nice. My old journal had glued pages and I had a problem with the pages falling out. That is not an issue with this book. The journal is thin and lightweight. I can easily carry it in my bag without feeling weighed down. It has about 120 pages in each journal which is great. I like to switch journals frequently so too many pages is not ideal for me. Will definitely be buying again.

I LOVE these journals. I was looking for a notebook to take calculus/physics notes in. I really like the efficiency of taking such notes on graph paper for the ability to go in and out of graphs while maintaining neat and organized text. I wanted to avoid getting a bunch of loose-leaf graph paper and sticking it in a 3-ring binder. I find myself getting very disorganized with that system plus the 3-rings always somehow manage to turn into a nightmare. I also wanted to avoid the "sticky bound" books of graph paper because those sheets always fall out and the bindings seem to erode over time. I've used Moleskine products for a long time and was elated to find the solution to my needs. These pages are not too big, not too small and it is all bound by string. Only a few of the pages are perforated per book, which is slightly inconvenient. I use these notebooks primarily for notes, however, and if I need to turn something in I will use a loose leaf style sheet of paper. Another high quality product from Moleskine, plus it comes in a 3 pack! Would recommend this product to anyone.

First a few considerations when buying Moleskine journals/notebook or whatever you like, the size names they give them are not intuitive or useful. XLarge is the size of a standard composition book from grade school ( roughly ). Take the time to look at the dimensions in the descriptions. The cover of this style is more durable than standard poster board stock, but it is not firm cardboard like the composition books. They do make a hardcover, but I am not sure if they do in this size and graph style. If you have never touched a moleskine, then at least try them, the paper can hold up to anything from a fountain pen to pencil, It has a nice weight to it, and it would hold up well to a three hole punch and a three ring binder. One of these days I will hole punch all of my notebooks and put them in binders, but I am personally adverse to that much structure. The size and the width make this notebook perfect for putting it in a book and carrying it around, that is the upside to the cover being thinner cardboard stock. It makes a great notepad for meetings or school work, and you can throw a couple in a briefcase or backpack. The sewn binding is strong, but unlike those cardboard composition books, you can actually open it up flat to any page and use all of the pages without tearing up the cover and binding in the process. So if you want a low profile notebook, then this is it.

These are my go to notebooks for work. I love the size of the pages and that they are squared. I'd be a bit happier if they sold packs that came in variety of colors but the notebooks themselves are great.

Even though the cover is more of a flexible cardboard instead of the usual Moleskine covers that are some kind of oil-skin cloth, these wonderful journals are the perfect size for anything. Bindings are stitched and the books lay open flat. The prices are so reasonable that these journals can easily replace notebooks in any setting.

I am going to used it for my organic class and my calc 4 class the cover is super cause is not heavy but it looks like it will last long time. It is the size of a composition book a little more bigger but good enough to take notes for a class, it open flat and the quality of the paper is really good :)

I'm extremely picky about my notebooks. I'm a person who learns and works best when I write things down. I'm also a very visual person, so it helps me remember things if they're laid out neatly. I love these notebook. Moleskines are fantastic anyway, great quality paper and bindings. However, I find the regular size and binding a bit small and stiff for my liking. When you open these notebooks, you can lay them flat on your desk and write on both sides of the paper. No pesky wire to work around, no curve in the paper from the binding (I told you, I'm particular). Amazon sells these for SO much cheaper than you can buy them anywhere else. This is a great deal for the BEST notebook....I'm obsessed.

Ich liebe diese Notizbücher! Ich mag das Format und Haptik und Qualität sind super. Im Alltag verwende ich meist die karierten oder punktierten Exemplare und habe für viele Themen ein entsprechendes Notizbuch. Sie sind nicht gerade "preisgünstig", aber bieten eben von der Papierqualität viel. Ich schreibe nahe zu immer mit einem guten Füllfederhalter und das passt perfekt zum Papier. Habe schon mehrmals gekauft, werde auch noch weiterhin kaufen. Wer Notizen noch handschriftlich macht, kann hier nichts falsch machen. Billiger geht immer, diese Notizbücher hier haben aber Style ;)

Questi block notes Moleskine sono sottili, pratici e facilmente portatili. Perfetti per prendere appunti ovunque ci si trovi, con la solita qualità estrema del marchio. Unico limite: la carta non è molto adatta all’uso con penne gel.

El color del papel nos da una especie de intimidad relajante que nos invita a escribir. No puedo estar sin los cuadernos Moleskine.
