The Eaton ASPIRE RF accessory switch (RF9517) replaces regular switches or dimmers to provide local and remote on/off control. The device also provides 3-way, multi-location or virtual 3-way remote on/off control of a selected RF switch without the need for traditional 3-way wiring. Great when it works but short lifetime
This is a great looking switch, operates as described, and worked well with my Homeseer controller software. However, out of two of these accessory switches, all two have failed after some months. The first one just died with no response and the blue light on the front would never light. The second one seems to have a zwave failure and no longer sends or responds to zwave commands, even though the blue light on the front turns on and off when the switch is clicked.Can't currently recommend due to the failure rate I've experienced.
