Easier to do then I would have though.
I bought these to do it myself. Watched a video on YouTube and followed the instructions. Very easy and the dogs hardly flinched. I would suggest not removing the (for lack of a better word) safety mechanism from the plunger part of the needle until the needle is in the dogs skin. It didn't happen to me, but I could see accidentally losing the chip. Also strongly recommend the 100% free chip registries found on Google. Great product.

Super Simple to use
We bought these for our alpacas, they come pre-loaded, super sharp, animal didn't flinch when inserting. Easy to use, just inject, click, done.

They work
I bought these in 2019, they work well. Before inserting the needle, I use liquid Oragel to numb the injection site for the microchip. Using the Oragel they don't even feel the needle.
