BrooksMen’s Ghost 16 Neutral Running Shoe

L**.
Looking for a comfortable shoe and I found it in these Brooks Ghosts!
The Brooks brand was the ONLY brand of shoes recommended by my podiatrist and his orthotist, and the neurologist I recently saw for my neuropathy was also wearing Brooks. I've tried several styles including Ghost (this was my second pair of Ghosts) and Adrenaline (2 pair of those). I wear a Women's 8.5 or 9 Wide, and the color selections in the women's wide shoes is often limited. My orthotist told me the mens version has a wider toe box, so a men's 7 or 7.5 shoe (regular width) was also worth trying. This was my first time to buy the men's version rather than the women's wide, and they worked well for me! Finding comfortable shoes for someone like me with both plantar fasciitis and neuropathy is difficult, so when you find something that works, you stick with it. Happy customer who buy this shoe again!

Best running shoe I have found
This is my second pair of these. I have virtually no pain in my knees or joints when running with these (almost any other shoe, I have joint pain when running). The only down side is that they wear out really quickly. The soles wear out within a couple months. I run 3 miles a day 3-4 days a week, so not too excessive. Would expect the soles to last longer than a couple months.

Only shoes my husband wears
Brooks are the only shoes my husband wears! He only gets ghosts and they have helped so much with lower back pain and fatigue throughout the day since he has a physically demanding job.they are comfortable, plenty of cushioning, especially in the heel, and a smooth ride overall. They’re lightweight but still feel supportive, they are great for someone on their feet all day!My Husband wears a size 13 and the fit was true to size. No weird rubbing or tight spots, and the toe box had just enough room. The upper feels breathable and flexible, and the black/grey/white colorway looks clean and low-key.

The great Ghost
Why did you pick this product vs others?:I used to run in Brooks Glycerin, but they got too narrow at the same time my foot got wider. So, I now run mostly in Saucony. But, I have tried to find a Brooks that would fit, that was neutral and had the right amount of cushioning. Enter Ghost. This shoe hit all the right buttons, so I am very pleased so far. Time and miles will tell.

Greatest walking shoes ever? Time will tell
Wow! Wow! Simply great. 4E really made this a bargain too when it is hard to find in person or online for my size 13 4E! I cannot wait to wear those everyday and hopefully they will last!!!!Update: they squeak from time to time. Guess it's too big. I went with 2E instead. Will post review on those. Gorgeous shoes they still are.

Glad I made the switch to Brooks.
For years I’ve bought the 880 New Balance shoe close to a dozen pairs, and was satisfied with them. Last year I purchased a pair of Brooks Cascadia shoes for hiking the Camino De Santiago. They were phenomenal! Hiked over 75 miles in rain and mud and they held up amazingly. Which made me think….I wonder how good Brooks running shoes are….well, I’m here to tell you I’m glad I made the switch. Super comfortable, great arch support, incredible cushion, love the look and the back of the shoe has a built in surface to assist when removing your shoe. They do run a little small, I’m a 10.5 shoe size but needed an 11. Beginning to love the Brooks Brand.

These sneakers are my sole-mates (yuk yuk yuk)
These are the shoes I've been looking for for years. As soon as I took my first steps with them on, I knew I had found the ones. I'm middle aged, and walking in these makes me feel a good 7 or 8 years younger. These are a great lightweight sneaker, and I love them as much as I can love an inanimate object.

Decent running shoe
Great running shoe. My husband is getting back into running and has a pretty high arch and a month in, these seem to provide ample support for a few mile daily run. There wasn’t much of a break-in period which was also a benefit!
