Works great
They look and work as advertised. I have the 26 quart sous vide container and retaining heat was always a problem. I usually put plastic wrap over the top to help hold in heat but that was a pain if I needed to move something around. These hold heat but still allow me to move whatever I'm cooking around or pull something out while leaving something else cooking. There are just enough here to cover the big 26 quart container with one layer of balls after accounting for the room taken up by the sous vide cooker.

It’s only 250 count of Sous Vide balls not 300 like the description so I returned it.
The product is good but the description is not. There were only 250 sous vide balls, not 300. I returned them.

Prevents "floating"
I was curious as to how a Sous Vide works, so I ordered one, a water container and these water balls with magnets. Put in a couple of steaks with these balls and the magnets and found that they helped keep the steaks submersed in the water bath. The steaks turned out great by the way...next time, a roast.

Balls and a Sack what more can you ask for?
Well they help keep heat in and cold air out, these along with a silicone lid kept me from adding a drop of water during a 72 hour sous vide bath.

They seem to work well. I’m not sure a lid on your bin wouldn’t be better and or easier but these seem to do the job
