Silence, beautiful silence!
I love my dogs so very much. I would move mountains for him. But the little dude drives me crazy. He barks a lot. And I'm not talking about just a bark here or there. No, this guy will decide that he needs to bark at some imaginary noise he thinks he heard and then he will work himself up into a barking frenzy until I am yelling at his name and irritated at him. And that's no way to live, is it? He thinks he's alerting me to some imaginary danger and I am mad at him for it. No. That's not going to work.I tried bark collars and I love them are decent while some of them are absolute trash. This one, however, I am absolutely and completely happy with. If I could give this one more than five stars I absolutely would. This one got results very quickly.I tried it on myself first, because I wanted to make absolutely sure of what it would feel like on my dog. I didn't want to hurt him. And I'm not going to lie, it does hurt a little bit. Just enough to get your full attention. But it's not painful. Not once has my dog ever yelped when wearing this collar. The great part about this collar is that it has different options. It doesn't go right into shocking the animal. It gives him a choice to correct his own behavior before he gets the shock. It gives him annoys and then if he continues it gives him a warning vibration, and then if he continues to bark he gets that shock. Mine got the shock I think twice. Possibly three times before the light bulb came on in his little adorable head and he realized what he was doing that was causing it. My home has been beautifully silent ever since getting this genius collar. My dog has now gotten to the point where he doesn't really even need to wear this everyday. He just understands that excessive barking is not acceptable. Two thumbs up from me!

Works, but some flaws
This product works; my dog has stopped barking and the single-digit display makes it reasonably easy to figure out how to use it.There is one button for on/off that only responds to long presses (it takes some trial and error to figure out which setting is "on"). There are three buttons for setting the level of the shock, vibration, and sensitivity. Each has levels 0-7.I had three issues with this product. First, over time, my dog's movements tend to touch the buttons and change the settings. This is with the dog wearing two collars, it might be possible to avoid this by removing the other (ordinary) collar. But it was certainly an unpleasant surprise to me.Second, as soon as the dog barks once, the sound-vibration-shock cycle is locked in. The dog cannot avoid the shock by stopping barking when it hears the sound. This is contrary to some of the other reviews I saw, and not what I wanted.Third, with my hand, shock level "1" is barely detectable and "5" is clearly noticeable but not painful. But if I put the collar on my own neck, "1" is already painful, and "7" is serious pain. I guess this depends on the conductivity of the skin in question. So be aware that there is no one-size-fits-all voltage for "humane shocks"; you may be hurting your dog more than you realize. This is not a flaw of this particular product, but a flaw in any product which doesn't somehow calibrate with brain scans of your pet — ie, anything realistic.

... but I would say overall this device is really good the only downfall is that whenever she is scratching ...
It really works… My dog is afraid of barking at people for no reason and I was frustrated because she seemed very aggressive but she was very protective she never bite anyone after I put it on she has been quiet and not barking at anyone but I would say overall this device is really good the only downfall is that whenever she is scratching it activates the device and it makes her a little bit confused because the device is going on but she’s not barking… This device also goes on if she is shaking or if it is being touched … I tried barking at the device and it goes on so I feel like the deviceRecognizes my voice for her I only put it on beep and vibrate because the shock option Is too strong for her she almost has a heart attack after I tried it on very low it was on one and she started screaming and the device kept the activating and it will go on for about seven times and I couldn’t take it off her because she was screaming and she wouldn’t let me touch her… This device is good I am glad I bought it because I have the option to turn off the shock and it seems to work just the sensitivity is throwing it off because I don’t want her to be confused whenever she is not barking and the device is going on the device should go on only when she barks that’s how she’s going to learn… The device for turn her neck pretty well it was a struggle at first to adjust The device because it was very hard to pull and everyone ask me if my dog has a GPS on The device is very visible on the neck and my dog is not afraid of whenever I am trying to put the device on so it’s almost like she knows that I’m trying to make her not bark with this device and it’s working very good

It's easy to use and it works.
My stubborn little Schnauser barks at everything! We're going to Yellowstone and I know she'll bark at everything that moves so I read the reviews and ordered this collar to get her used to it before we go. The collar came quickly and is very easy to program. So far I haven't had to use the shock. The sound and vibration do the trick. She barked at the horse in our field as we were driving out and the collar beeped, she did a circle and then laid down. On the way back in she saw the horse again and just laid down. I was shocked! The only problem I've had is sometimes it goes off when she shakes her whole body. Also I have to use a second collar for the leash because the D ring lands in the wrong place and pulls the prongs to the side of her neck. Maybe the noise of the two collars colliding when she shakes is causing the collar to beep. Otherwise I would have rated it 5 stars.
