Great cable comb; analogous to much more expensive options
I have a friend who performs massive network installations and he constantly uses combs like this one to keep bundles of cables very tidy.Since I work predominantly in home and small business environments I put virtually ALL my network installs in-wall and the only thing visible is the patch cables from color-coordinated ports in the wall to the switch. These short patch cables do not get "combed."However, once in a rare while, I drop a visible bundle of cables into a "network room" and the cable bundle *IS* visible. Usually this represents only 12 to maybe 48 cables, so when this comb was offered to me I snatched it to improve the ease of tidying those installations.I compared this tool with my buddy's various combs for which he apparently paid between $65 to over $150. [This category of tool used to be far more expensive before they become a bit more common.] This one is functionally pretty much indistinguishable from his more expensive pieces and the quality of the plastic seems just as good.I have fit Cat5, 5E, 6 and even 6A into this comb easily. As another reviewer mentions, it begins to struggle a bit more "significantly" with the Cat7 I test fitted. Unfortunately, the only Cat7 cable I have on hand at the moment is a patch cable; patch cables are often "beefier" since they are handled a lot. I would not be surprised if bulk, "long-run" Cat7 would fit significantly easier.Since the networking price/performance "sweet spot" is still Cat5E and Cat6 (and looks to be for some time), I'd say this comb is a good value for a tool which will also likely have significant utility for probably another 5 to 10 years.I have recently seen various less expensive cable comb options, but they all seem to NOT make the "future-proof" Cat6A and Cat7 diameter claim . . .

Makes the job EASY and it looks Professional
A bit pricy for what it is but the time I saved well worth it. I wanted to get one a couple years ago but ended up did everything by hand and took me a lot longer than using this tool for wiring my new house this time. I remember when I was looking back then, most on the market was only for cat 5 and 6. This one has slot wide enough for 6a and 7.

Great build quality, clever design
This is going to make my side-jobs look so much nicer. I can tell that my biggest issue with this is how many of my friends are going to want to borrow it. It is great quality and quite substantial-feeling in the hand. It seems to be made of a super-tough ABS. The two parts slide apart easily and there is no warping between the feed plate and the outer ring. There is a break so they will not slide apart in the wrong direction as you pull. What I like about this design is that it will work whether I am routing 5 or 20 cables, it will handle it just as well. The other good thing is that if I need to go a distance, such as to the next rack down, and need to add some more cables from that one, I can slide the parts apart and add them in. It is meant for cat6 or cat7, but the spaces for the cables are about 8.5mm wide. So this would work well for home theater applications as well. Overall a great addition to my kit.

Hixeto Wire Comb for Network Cable Management, for Wires with a Diameter Up to 0.36"
This tool comes in a plastic bag which has to be torn open, so you'll have to provide something else to store it in. A printed instruction sheet is not provided, but basic instructions are shown in the official images on the product page. The description didn't specify the type of plastic it's made of, but it looks/feels like ABS plastic.I work in IT, but I rarely get to / have to clean up messy rack cabling (it's hard to get approval for the necessary labor time and downtime), so I hesitated at the pricetag of this thing. A couple lower-cost competitors of this product exist, but they only support the older thinner types of ethernet cables. This one is future-proofed through Cat7, as well as being backwards-compatible with the narrower cables like Cat5e that are still widely used. It should make satisfyingly-organized cabling much easier, both at work and at home.

Works
This cable comb works like any other. It is thick plastic so doesn't seem prone to breaking. Standard CAT5 and CAT6 pure copper cables fit well. The fit is simple. Slide out the grey center to expose the guides. Insert your cables in and reinsert the grey core into the yellow outer ring. This allows you to load pre-terminated cables or comb cables that are already plugged in.Overall, it's a timesaver and helps to make your wiring bundles look nice and neat.
