This notebook is amazing. The pages are are not flimsy and I can use a fairly marker type pen without it bleeding through. The cover is sturdy and the binding is strong. I can press pages back and there is no cracking or warping. The color is bright and pigmented. The pen is great and doesn’t bleed, very smooth application. Also the clip for the pen fits perfectly on the book and holds the pen tight. I’ve been using it for a couple weeks pulling the pen out and it still holds tight, no stretching observed. I will most definitely purchase another one of these notebooks when the times comes.

Please don’t get an expensive brand name journal. This is quite comparable for a fraction of the price. It’s cute, has thick pages and comes with a free pen and stickers to boot. Furthermore it’s a great size: not too small or big, you can throw it in your purse. I will definitely purchase again.

EDIT: joy note contacted me right away after leaving my 1 star review and asked for pictures. I sent them and a replacement was issued. Hands down fantastic customer service. New book came and no issues!! Super excited this is a great notebook/journal!! And I absolutely LOVE the pen!!I love this notebook the pages lay flat and the pen is amazing.... but when I saw the ribbon to mark your spot and flipped to the back of the book to pull it out I noticed the last few pages weren’t sewn in tightly and it looks like some of the binding has already given way 😞. It’s not worth returning since I’ve already written in it. Just hoping it holds up and doesn’t fall completely apart

The media could not be loaded.  Ok yes the notebook is great, I haven’t seen many journals with a truly red color so this was the one. Only thing missing is a back pocket for some small files would be great. They also include some cute calendar stickers for you to use.That aside—THE PEN. Good lord this is one of the smoothest, sharpest, most enjoyable to write pen I’ve ever held. It’s got the fineness of a ballpoint pen without the ink skipping, and the solid writing experience of a gel pen without messy ink smearing everywhere or thick lines distorting your handwriting. I’d buy this again just for the pen.

This is a great book! It would make a great gift as well.I bought this as daily thankful journal for my family to do every night.There is a date slot on every page. The pages are thick that I can use all sorts of pens, thin markers and colors and it does not bleed through the pages.It's sturdy to use every day. I like the cover it would be great to add a customized cover for anyone or leave as is.The pen that comes with it was surprisingly vet nice.It's one of my favorite pens. It writes verym smooth and is a nice ink.The pen holder that attaches to the notebook is also very great and fits the pen well and would fit other pens as well .A great buy and would be a lovely gift.

A beautiful and well made notebook/journal.I love the color, the ribbon book marks, the pen holder and even the quality of the pen! It’s not a cheap pen that needs some “warming up” to write. Its the perfect pairing.The book even came packed with care in a cardboard sleeve that was sealed. I will definitely order this again in the future.

This is a very nice notebook. Highly giftable. The pages are thick and the paper is good quality. I am impressed with the pen. It sets this journal apart from the others. It’s a very sturdy pen and writes much better than other gel pens. I hope it never runs out of ink. The pen holder is very good quality too. If I feel the inspiration to journal I want the pen right there. If I have to go searching for one forget it; I won’t journal.

Nicely surprised when I openend the box! Notebook is high quality and the pen and holder are so nice! I like nice quality pens and paper and these are both at an excellent price. This would make a beautiful gift. It came in a nice box with a little goft. Very nice. Will buy more, for me and as gifts for my friends - as journaling is a critical part of my self-care.
