Mantua Arcadia Nightstand in Wedgewood Blue

Looks exactly like the picture. Blue is true to picture too, more on a darker teal side of blue. Looks fantastic with our decor. I had a bedroom set in espresso that has since been discontinued so I couldn't buy those nightstands, so we decided to pick up the blues in the room and I'm glad we went with this table. Was super easy to put together, shipping was fast, packaging was done well, nothing broken or damaged. The drawer is a nice size, not one of those tiny little drawers that don't fit anything in it. I love it! Thank you!

All things considered, this is a nice piece for the price. It's all wood (probably pine) with no chipboard, which is nice. It has a decent enough finish and comes partially assembled. The assembly is easy and straight-forward: screwing in 12 bolts (four on each side and four in the shelf using the supplied hex wrench. Here is where a "however" comes up. To screw the sides on, you must remove the drawer from the top part of the piece. It did not want to come out easily in my case and I tried everything I could think of, including YouTube how-to videos. Finally, I grabbed the drawer itself, held the release levers as described in the instructions (up on one side, down on the other--yeas that is correct) and shook the drawer hard downward (over a bed) and the top part came off the drawer. After that, the rest is cake. I will say that this is not fine furniture--the shelf on sone side butts up against the side rails as it should. However, on the other side, there is about a 1/8 inch gap over the entire span of the shelf. Not super noticeable and doesn't compromise the structural integrity. I looked closely at the shelf and saw that there were two holes--the guy drilling the hole missed at first and then re-drilled another hole that had to be a little offset--this on both holes on one side of the shelf. The drawer has decent glides and the size is also nice--big enough to be usable. It pulls out about 2/3-3/4 of the way, which is a minor drag. It also doesn't sit symetrically in the top part of the piece--more gap on one side than the other. but again, function is OK, appearance is not perfect, but OK. So all in all a decent value and is it certainly very sturdy, and with the one exception of removing the drawer, the assembly is easy. It works just fine for me. All the cosmetic issues I mentioned would be fixed by buying a similar piece from a Scandanavian furniture place, for example, but probably at 3-4 times the cost.

This is a heavy solid nightstand. I needed to bring it downstairs and couldn't it was too heavy, so my daughter's boyfriend did it. That is a good thing that this nightstand is that sturdy and solid! It was easy for me to put together. If I had difficulty putting this nightstand together I would have shared a youtube video as I have with other things I had to put together.

Bought this with a Mantua headboard and frame. Easy to assemble with no visible screws, bolts or locks. Drawer has smooth solid feel. There is a minor gap between lower shelf and sides, but unless you are looking for it, you won't see them. Great value for our guest bedroom.

Love this nightstand and the beautiful color! It's solid with a nice sized drawer. Perfect nightstand. Easy to put together.

It is solid wood which is what I wanted. But for $125 I thought the quality would be better. Dark scuff marks on top. Wood putty cracked on top. At least I can hide that with a lamp. I won’t return it but definitely won’t recommend it either.

The nightstand looks nice and is built well but the one I received has some cosmetic issues that had to have been there when the manufacturer packed it. These include corner dings, holes, and scratches to the wood top. The drawer slides work well and the finish is good.

Drawer is a little stiff at first but should loosen with use. Good product for it’s purpose and price.
