It works, hasn't given me any problems.
I've been through 3 batteries in my '01 Suzuki DRZ-400S, I usually seem to get about 6 months to a year out of them.I thought a cheap battery would be fine, but the TMS battery that fits the drz wouldnt even crank the motor over, pre filled and pre charged. put it on a battery tender overnight, nothing. left it for a few more days on the tender, still nothing. got sick of waiting, bought this battery at approx double the price of the $30 TMS battery.got it, filled it, charged it, installed it, bike has started every time, cranks fast, holds a charge good, what more is there to say? buy this battery if you're having issues with your bike starting.I thought about going the Ballistic Li-ion way, but i can buy nearly 4 of these for the cost of a li-ion battery. lithium ion batterys have a shelf life of about 10 years, so if it doesn't go bad before then, it will be shot after 10 years, i figure hopefully i can get 2 years of riding out of this yuasa battery, so i'd nearly break even with li-ion cells, with a much smaller upfront cost.

Fits perfectly
Battery was perfect , fast shipping good quality for the price. Adding the separate acid container into battery was awkward at first but self explanatory after you figure it out.

Good Battery
Starting my second year using this battery on my DRZ400. Good battery so far (NOTE: over the winter, I removed it from the bike and keept it indoors and on a trickle charger).

No longer made in Japan, there are better batteries for $25 on eBay, also no customer support.
Yuasa was a good brand when they were made in Japan and would last several years. That's why I bought this one. They are now made in China, which this battery says right on the case. Mine only lasted 1 season. You can now find better batteries made in China on eBay for $20-25. I've found at least 2 brands in that price range that lasted 2-3 years, which makes this battery pretty useless at the $50+ price range and the name Yuasa is no longer of any value. Another thing I will add is I tried getting customer support but there is none. They won't even talk to you or return calls/emails.

Battery for Drz400s
Replaced my battery on my DRZ400S. Directions were simple, and I don't have any worries or concerns. Hopefully this battery lasts for years.

I stopped buying the expensive batteries as non seem to last long
Put this on my DRZ 400sm. Haven't had good luck with batteries. I've tried the expensive ones and am no returning to the more affordable as none seem to last. Will keep the bike hooked up to a battery tender and hope for the best. The battery has plenty of power to do the job.

Works in 2009 Daytona 675
Bought for my 2009 Daytona 675. Install is quick and easy. Adding the acid is very straight forward too with no guesswork.
