Himalayan Chef Cooking Plate Block Cooking Salt Plate & Holder Set, Pink Salt, 1 Count

I ordered this and it came cracked. Amazon sent me a new one. Something did not seem right about it when I heated it up on the grill (I have used many of these on the grill) and it tasted wierd. I placed 1 potatoe on it and heard a loud pop and the corner of it exploded. I started the grill on very low and heated it up slowly over an 1/2 hour. And it says there are no refunds. Horrible Products.

The product arrived late and one of the blocks was cracked along a corner, looks like it had beed dropped?The package weighed over 30 lbs. since I bought two.I thought the blocks were supposed to be sets of two so that they could be used as serving plates/individual hot plates for my dinner guests to use. They came as long solid blocks, not sets of two. Didn't really devalue the item, still used and served the plates from the stove.I recommend heating in the oven, not on the burners or gas grill, but you have to realize that you need 45+ minutes of heating prep time to do this properly.I also thought a "cook book" of sorts was included, but didn't see one.The cleaning brush I also purchased worked fine on these but came separately and again seemed to take a long time to arrive.

Arrived cracked and it won’t let me return

Had never tried Salt block cooking but first tried salmon and put 2 half potatoes on block while warming for salmon and both were amazing. Great flavors.

Perfectly seasons food. The only negative is having to clean it and I used it on the stove and the salt leaked and crystalized on the stove. It was easy to clean though.

Do not buy this! I ordered it 2 times because it kept coming in cracked and broken. Now it wont let me return the 2nd one i got to get a new one. Im very disappointed.

Salt block unknown to me previously. Friend introduced me to the salt block for grilling. Wonderful.

Had three products sent, all were damaged.The product itself works very well, great flavor and easy to use and clean.

Got this for a gift for my dad and the item which is heavy came with nothing but a thing piece of plastic which had ripped off in the box.Both my salt blocks came chipped and cracked!!!Can’t reach seller and no returns. Such a bummer now I’m stuck with the item I can’t and won’t use and short a gift for my dads party.I think this is something he would have really liked.

Not returnable, so buyer beware.Mine too came chipped, but since it isn't a gift, not a huge concern. The flavoring effect is also questionable. But it exotic enough of a concept to impress some of your guests. I am worried about that one report of the salt block exploding, this is a huge safety concern.

DO NOT BUY, item arrived broken in several places just like all the other reviews say. This item is not eligible for return so purchasing this item is practically wasting your money. You can use it but you cant wash it.This is disappointing since it was a gift.

Hello , the piece i got is not as heavy as described & thinner, i got no metal holder, only a wooden block, there is no contact info, for the seller ???

I would like to talk to the seller my Hamelin salt rock came in the mail today but it's broken it does not help me anything like this.
