At this price point I wasn’t expecting much, I was sure surprised when I opened the box and held it in my hand. What a well thought out design. We own 100 acres of woods, I walk my dogs at night so there’s always a concern about skunk and coyote encounters so I carry a 22 rifle since center fire isn’t legal in my state after sun down. I wasn’t looking for much, just enough to light up the target to put my red dot optic on it. I’d been taking the Streamlight 7A light off my Glock and attaching it to the 22 each night, but it really doesn’t light all that well and eats batteries, so I ordered this light for the 22. I picked this one out from the million options available because of 3 main reasons. 1) Its the only light I could find that attaches directly to Magpul M Lok without having to hunt down and find adapters. Even the high end lights are still using only outdated mounting methods that require additional adapters. This works out of the box on M Lok or Picitany with no extra adapters needed. 2) It looks like it was actually designed to be a gun light, not a pocket flashlight duct taped to the end of the barrel. All the other options I could find are nothing more than just a handheld flashlight, bulky and stick out (especially after you add additional adapters to convert to M Lok) which snags on everything, and doesn’t look purpose built at all. 3) The specs were impressive, but I had my doubts they weren’t being exaggerated at this price point. I have higher end gun lights that are 500, 800 and 1000 Lumens that just weren’t giving me the light I wanted. The 1450 Lumens was one of the highest I could find. Upon trying it out the first time it was clear the specs are not being exaggerated. It lights the area out front beautifully, perfect range and the transition between spot and flood is the absolute perfect balance, the lighting is consistent for perfect night shooting range and great flood to the sides for fast running target acquisition. Its all aluminum, not plastic, doesn’t have a cheap feel to it at all. The USB magnetic charging is great, no plug hole to fill with dirt, I can charge it off my phone adapter in the house on AC or in my Truck on DC. Other high end lights won’t let you do this without ordering a AC or DC specific model. I also like the switching system on this, 2 separate switches in the perfect rear position, no funky multi function single switch of having to press and hold or press and release multiple times to do different functions, and no sloppy wires running to a separate switch. It sits low profile on the gun, initially I was going to mount it out of the way on the side, but found mounting it on the bottom gives me a quick index point for my hand when firing and serves as an aid rather than something being bulky and in the way like the more expensive lights. I’ll admit, I wouldn’t have paid $300+ for a no name light, but had I spent $300 on this light after trying it I wouldn’t be complaining. I have $300 lights that I like far less than this light. My only complaint is the rechargeable internal battery isn’t replaceable, no idea how long it lasts and at this price just buying another new light is about the same as replacement batteries any how, I’ll just hate the thought of throwing away such a great light when the day comes that the batteries no longer charge. 100% satisfied and I’m the type of person who loves researching things out to be sure I’m not going to have buyers remorse by finding something better later. Its unfortunate that sometimes all you have is a brand name and false hype to base a decision on. It often leads to paying more for the advertising that goes into a product rather than the quality. I’m ordering another one to replace the hand held flashlight I keep in my tool box.

Mounting was very easy, and it came with different mounting options. The magnetic charging cable is pretty short, so either you remove the light from your weapon or use and extension cord to your USB charger. (that is not included) The light is pretty darn bright! I can't verify the exact lumen output but it does light up my entire living room, and fans out nicely so it's more of a floodlight than spotlight. The flash is very intense and I'm sure will make whomever it's pointed at momentarily put off guard. I would buy this again, and in fact am considering buying one for my M4.

Mid last year I went down the path of finding a cheap, decent torch for my build to use in dark buildings and outdoors. After ordering half a dozen cheap variants of lights with remote pressure switches I almost gave up utilizing a light entirely due to the cables, clunkiness and overall feel/aesthetic. A buddy of mine showed me his setup and it utilized this torch and WOW I was amazed just how efficient the setup works that I had to order one for myself. Before buying I knew the housing was going to be polymer and the lens itself may not hold up to being knocked around vigorously. For my intended purposes the light is being used on a SBR which the goals I want accomplished are: lightweight, low profile, bright, simple operation and reliable. This torch nails ALL categories in what I was looking for and more when running practice course. Mounted on the front of the 10” MLOK handguard in the 45 degree segment. Maneuvering in different directions felt natural and that I wasn’t trying to juggle something heavy or lopsided. For the grip style I use, the placement of the buttons feels natural and predictable. Very bright. Strobe setting strobes like crazy lemme tell ya, it hauls ass. If you’re looking for a responsive, low profile, lightweight, MLOK and picatinny torch and strobe — you just can’t beat this for the price and functionality.

This light is a good value, having both Picatinny and Mlock mounting available, and provides a bright illumination and is quite light in weight, and that is a good thing. I'm not sure yet how long a charge will last, but I am good with this purchase. The price makes it a good value.
