I ordered this to fill up a shelf in the corner unit in the attached pic. This clock tells the time - no second hand, no alarm, but I’m happy with it. It runs on 1 AA battery, and it looks good among the other unrelated items. It came last, weeks after I ordered it, but finally that corner project is complete! (5 tier lighted corner unit available on Amazon as well as the faux plant, red pot, gnome, and bunnies)

This clock is amazing to me. I love the design of it. Old fashioned but with a simple modern face. It is soundless as given in description. I’m 75 years old and my eyesight is not good. The face numbers are black and the background is white. I can see it from across the room. Worth the money.

This gold MICWIC Small Gold Table and Shelf Desk Clock has a classic vintage look that adds charm, and would work with any home decor style. It is soundless, lightweight, and perfect for different spots in my house where a clock is handy, but I don't want one mounted on the wall. It is cute, and adds to my decor, but I think one thing is strange about this piece... like, why is the back open to expose the mechanics...? Kind of funny, and not a problem, just odd to me. I still like it though and am glad I have it:)

I gasped aloud when I pulled this clock out of the packing it arrived in. It is that amazingly gorgeous.Everything about it is perfection.Right now it is on my bookshelf, but ultimately, I think it will end up in my bedroom. It is a versatile time piece AND artistic accessory.The gold is not shiny or brassy. It is an almost coppery gold, online, it had more of a faded gold, almost grayish cast to it, but in person, it looks a bit more coppery gold, like the steampunk aesthetic I love, so if you were hoping for a more muted color, you could add a tiny bit of rub n buff (colored wax stuff that comes in tiny tubes at Craft and hobby stores) or maybe even a tiny amount of gray chalk paint to mute the color so that it looks the way it does online. To me it is already perfect.It looks like an antique, but oversized, I am at a total loss for words to describe the impact it has on my space (though I will try).It takes batteries to start it up and the panel to reach them is on the back and easy to use. It takes regular batteries, not discs or anything you will have to special order.Sidenote, my cat really likes this clock which is why it has been on the top shelf of my living room bookshelf, she kept rubbing her head against it and almost knocked it off the table in her aggressive passion for timekeeping. But other than that small complication, it is one of the nicest home decor items in my condo.
