Decent Beginner Workbench
This workbench had exactly the right dimensions to fit the open space in my basement and provide a platform for my miter saw and mat cutter. If it weren't for some assembly issues and minor instability, it would be great.Pros:1) Solid flakeboard top - came in good condition with slightly chipped edges (no big deal at all), flat and level2) Metal frame bolts together in no time3) Provides ample space for miter saw or 60" mat cutter4) Shelf underneath is handy for simple storage (miter saw)Cons:1) Very difficult to screw flakeboard top to the metal frame - metal top supports do not allow for straight screwdriver access when screwing in wood screws (I luckily had a right-angle ratcheting philips screwdriver), and holes should be pre-drilled despite the directions not saying so2) No matter how much I tighten the bolts, the table tends to lean slightly with heavy enough weight on it (i.e. miter saw) - not enough to the point that it would fall, but a slight lean (triangular cross-beams as a future update would help)Given the price of the table, I still consider it a good deal, just don't expect a professional table.

Wiggly and Wobbly "work" bench.
I ordered the first one, which came without the extendable legs, no nuts and bolts, was bent and damaged and obviously returned by someone who got it before me. So I returned and replaced it. The second one had all the legs, however still no nuts and bolts, so I got a couple at the local hardware store. Once put together it looks OK however when you want to move it to put in place it swings easily from left to the right. Some kind of across support beam on back or front would be helpful. I ended up fixing the board to the wall with some screws and now it stands steady and firm. Good enough for my application but when you need a "work bench" this is not what you want.....

Customer Service left a nice taste in my Mouth! :D
Amazon is relentless with their 2-day shipping and its amazing! Though when I received mine it was lacking the hardware to build it so I was initially bummed. I decided to chill out and email amazon and the manufacturer. Lo and behold the manufacturer, Edsal, immediately sent me a full set of hardware that came within the week. Finally got to build it and use it. Cleaned up and fit it into an alcove in the garage under all my Container Store Elfa Storage shelves. :) I'm a happy hobbyist now. ;) Only thing left is a trash can and a stool! Any suggestions? jk :DDont forget: secure ALL holes with the given nuts and bolt, welded or not! They're pre-welded only for ease of assembly. Without all holes screwed in place the table becomes wobbly and will compromise stability of the work surface... I almost gave it 1 star because I overlooked such a simple thing. The table top is very heavy and as many have said its very difficult to screw the top to the legs. I agree but you neednt screw a lot. I merely screwed 4 corners to just keep it in place. I found my electronic hand tools very handy or my socket wrench for tight places. All together, if you have an adequate amount of tools (which you should if your building a workbench in the first place...) it shouldn't be too much hassle.. :DEnjoy and build on!

No Hardware, No Instructions, No Customer Service....
I ordered three of these tables. They arrived with no instructions, no screws, no bolts-nothing. They all appear to be items that were previously opened and then returned. The tops are all damaged (which may have happened in shipping). I called the customer service number, but that was pointless. The man referred me to a website where I could find instructions if I looked hard enough. Never found instructions, and of course still had no hardware to assemble. Bad product and poor customer service.

I really like this, for the money for sure
I really like this, for the money for sure. I'll likely add a back brace to it as it seems a little flimsy as it delivers. I do really like it though but I think a little extra support will go a long way. I would definitely buy it again.

Prefect for my shop!
The Edsal UB700 met my needs for a work bench. It is heavy enough to handle the jobs I need to do for my business, but I'm still able to move it around in my shop.

Solid Bench
Solid Bench. Easy Assembly. Particle board top was slightly damaged, but nothing too bad (probably shipping).I added a 1" by 4" skirt around the two sides and the back.
