Follow the instructions!!
I saw some reviews on Target and wanted to set the record straight because it was getting rated negatively from people who clearly didn't read the instructions and were surprised that the results weren't great. The complaints about the pigment in the little bottles are valid. That's much too hard and it's harder to squeeze out pigment than it should be, but I still had enough pigment for the gloss. The instructions are in the little paper that has all the makeup on the back of it that you can collect. The instructions were super thorough. I should know because I've been making eyeshadows and lip products for a hobby since 2022. I can't speak for the nail polish but I'll come back and review once I have. That's new territory for me. Same with the lip stain.Allergy warnings for the eyeshadow: It contains Carmine, Yellow 5 & Yellow 5 Lake, Blue 1 Lake, Red 40, and Phenoxyethanol (commonly used preservative). Also contains Talc for those trying to avoid it. See the attached pic for the ingredients.Recommend using gloves and paper towels because this is messy and pigments can stain. Don't breath in the powder from the eyeshadow. It's not good for your lungs because anything powdery doesn't belong there and a lot of eyeshadow contains iron oxide aka rust. There's a fun fact for you. We rub rust all over our lids.Anyway, onto the review. The formula for the liquid binder isn't super conmon, but it works. The formula is not terrible like mentioned in another review. You're not getting Natasha Denona or Urban Decay quality here. The closest formula comparison are the Ulta brand, Sephora brand, and Beauty Bay brand eyeshadows. The instructions specifically says to use only 3 drops of the eyeshadow liquid (liquid binder). I would argue that you can get away with 4, but if you do use too much of the liquid, use a napkin and gently press it on the eyeshadow to absorb the oil. If it's still got too much oil, just use another part of the napkin and repeat. The eyeshadow mix consistency should look similar to my pic. That's what you're trying to get. You should be able to take the spatula, clump it together, and it should stay on the spatula. That's how you know it's ready to press. Break it up with the spatula and keep doing that. Be gentle when you press with the little M tamper or you'll lift the eyeshadow. That's normal eyeshadow behavior.Leave the plastic film on the palette itself or you'll create a mess like I did. However, if you do make a mess, you gently wet a q-tip with 70% isopropyl alcohol and wipe it away. If it gets in the eyeshadow, it's not going to harm it. Just use the napkin trick I mentioned earlier.Really, I'd only deduct half a star because the little bottles that the pigments come in are too hard and would be easy to squeeze too much out of. I didn't have the issue with the pipette that others had. Massage the bulb gently on the sides and don't lift it out of the lid too quickly.Honestly, I wish I had this when I was a kid because it's super cute and I would have been interested in cosmetic science much sooner. This is a great series and I love it!!

Necessary parts were detached.
I would love to make this but I'm currently trying to figure out what glue will make the eyeshadow pots stick and stay in. I love miniverse normally but this sucks at the moment. If I can get it fixed I'll give a rating based on what it is.Fixed the pots but the products are garbage. I bought another one. Yay it's lip oil I thought up until first one and the second pipette burst in between my fingers. I managed to scrape what was left in the little measuring cup into a container with a toothpick . After that I said to hell with it and squeezed the everliving crap out of the " berry lip oil" into the lip oil base after popping the top off. I can only hope that the people that got the nailpolish had a better experience. * I use pipettes for making perfume I'm gentle with them

Cute but not worth it
I received the pink lip stain. The bottles are difficult to squeeze but they do make 2 lip stains. The pipette doesn't work well and I ended up using a perfume funnel to fill the containers. Although cute, it was a waste of money.
