leaving 5 starts for the sporty look. compression is persistent. I dont have Cauliflower ears so I cant test if these work for that.

Other products for cauliflower ear prevention are typically two separate magnets. Having them connected to a single device is very useful. The included "Pressure Reduction Discs" are great but they ARE going to get lost. More would be better, or at the very least, a clear way to buy more.These magnets, especially the large ones, are definitely strong. Using a roll of that stretchy stick to itself tape that is about the diameter of a US dime, about 0.7 inches, much thicker than an ear, even a damaged one. The large magnets most certainly were held in place by magnetism. The small ones, just barely hung on but if you banged the roll of tape the small magnets fell off. On an ear the small magnets stayed put though.

Nevertheless, we did not want full-blown cauliflower ear which is permanent, so I sent him off to school wearing these magnets.He came home and said they really helped and the pain was gone!I am upgrading my rating to 5 stars!
