Perfect at home dance floor especially now with distance zooming for dance classes. Easy to roll out and put away. I ordered foam floor mats to help protect dancers joints, since dance floors have a spring floor usually. Just need some plywood to go between the 2 for perfect tap sounds and a studio feel foor. This Marley flooring works great for turns and dances, was great for jazz, lyrical and ballet with foam mats in between on the deck. Easy set up and take down. Fast shipping, fine quality**12/6/20 the 1st 3 photos show my 12X12 dance floor in my family room, using Gaffe tape and foam mats I created a dance space to help protect my dancers joints it also allows for them to tap without wrecking the under floor. Plywood between the 2 layers would help with sounds, but as you can see I wanted to be able to easily stack the floors when not in use and have our family room floor to use. I made the family room floor using a 6x24 piece and cutting in half.My basement also has a dance room of 12X10, similar set up, the preferred dance space as it’s more private, I have 3 dancers so classes sometimes end up at the same time with Zoom dance classes. (Basement floor pictures with grey/blue walls)I also have one more 6X12 Marley floor piece that I originally ordered a few years ago and by accident discovered a little time in the summer heat in my deck “ironed” out the wrinkles it got from my improper storing of it in its side.I recommend this flooring for an inexpensive set up for an in home dance space.

This item did not work for us. It totally slipped and shifted on our carpet. We were sincerely sorry to have to return it.

Our 12 year old daughter competes in tap and other dance styles, and just loves her new dance floor. We roll it out in our entryway to protect the hardwood floors, then roll it back up in the sturdy tube that it was shipped in when not in use.
