It maintains the vacuum for a LONG time. 29.5" for over 4 days
Has very good seal - It maintains the vacuum for a LONG time. 29.5" for over 4 days.The other thing that is nice is that the vacuum gauge is mounted in a different location than the valve fittings - The gauge reading more accurately represents the vacuum in the chamber as opposed to the vacuum in the suction hose of the pump.I'm very satisfied with the quality and functionality of this vacuum chamber.

Excellent performance after a year
I have been pleasantly surprised by the quality of this chamber. All of the gauges, fittings, valves, and seals all still work perfectly after a few dozen uses over the last year+. I have been especially impressed with the quality of the seals. I often put the system under about -90kPa vacuum, close the valves, and leave the system overnight. When I return the system has always remained at the same vacuum, despite some dirt on the big rubber seal on the lid. Product is highly recommended.

No fitting to connect vacuum pump
They gave me every fitting under the sun except the one i needed to connect the vacuum pump. Why? lol
