Larger than I thought, strong and sturdy ignore the negative reviews this is it .

I love the idea of this crate waterer. This is my second unit, the bottom of my first one broke off cleanly where the bottom meets the sides. Both my previous waterer and my present waterer somehow end up soaking his dog bed. The bed ends up soaking wet and there is still water in the bowl. It doesn’t seem to be leaking from the connection or the auto shutoff valve. There are no toys or loose fabrics in his crate to create an accidental siphon. When I find his bed has been soaked (yes it’s the water, my dog is house trained so it’s definitely not urine) there are no foreign objects in or around the bowl that could create a siphon effect. I am extremely puzzled what could be causing this. I downrated the waterer (I don’t use the food dispenser), because of the bottom breaking in my 1st unit and the fact that somehow my dog’s bedding becomes soaked, otherwise, except for the break and the leaking (?) I’d give it 5 stars. If anyone else has experienced this flooding issue or has an answer as to how this could be happening, I’d appreciate your response. I’ll also post this as a question, so it can be responded to. Thanks much!

The media could not be loaded. I've bought two, Initially, everything is great, but I am now about to place a third order to replace both waterers due to the convenience of the bottle size. However, as time passes, it becomes increasingly difficult to remove the water bottle from the base. This video, shows one of the easier times I had removing it for a refill. However, there are times when I give up due to fear of breaking it. The water capacity is impressive, and I plan to repurchase solely because of the large water holding capacity. On another note: It would be nice to have the option of buying two of the same models, such as two waterers or two feeders, instead of being limited to only one of each option.

If you have a ferret nation cage it fits just barely with the food dispenser you have to bend the bars a bit to get the bowl to fit but it’s perfect for my ferrets who love to knock there stuff around! They can’t mess this up!
