Fantastic Tilting Flat Screen TV Mount Very convenient
Although a little pricey, this is a fantastic flat screen wall mount. I now have three of these on TVs in my house. I don't understand how you're supposed to get to the back of a TV to connect a cable, or change connections, with a regular mount, without having two or three people to lift the set off the mount, then stand and hold it while you make the connections. With this mount, you simply loosen a couple of nuts, and the whole set tilts down about 90 degrees, so you can get to the rear connections at your leisure. It's very easy to install, and very sturdy. One other thing I don't understand is, why the company doesn't market these more aggressively. I bought my first one about 9-10 years ago at a Best Buy. When it came time to buy another about 4-5 years ago, I really had to look hard to find it. When I bought this one, luckily, Amazon had retained my search history, so it popped right up. Overall, I strongly recommend this mount.

Very nice LCD wall mount
I bought this wall mount to hang a Sharp 32" LCD (LC32D62) TV in my bedroom. I could have gone with the standard frame on the back of the set with a plate on the wall type of setup, but I wanted easier access to the back of the TV and wall fixtures (power plug and video connections). What is unique about this mount is that it allows you to tilt down the TV till it is completely horizontal (90 degrees from the wall). This allowed me full access to the workings behind the TV and at the wall. The actual installation of the mount was simple as could be: 1) find the studs, 2) pre-drill the holes for the screws, 3) drive in the screws 4) adjust the mount on the well for center and 5) hang the TV on the mount. All in all took about 20-30 minutes, easy as could be.I give this mount 5 Stars for is ease of installation and unique flexibility in allowing access to the back of the TV and wall.

One Hand Operation Down - Two Hand Operation Up
Overall, I am very satisfied with this mount. The installation instructions were very straight forward. Only common household tools reqiured except the lag bolts require a drill with high torgue to sink them. The design is very good and solid once assembled. The bar could have been a few inches wider to help with centering but it is acceptable. I mounted a 50" Plasma Panasonic. No problems attached to the set. The only problem I have really is the factory tensioning of the mounts hinges (pre-set to hold 180lbs I think) Tinkering with the tension nuts with the supplied wrenches is tedius to me. Getting both hinges tensioned to the same amount is not a simple task. Once tensioned properly, I could lower the set, add wiring etc and push back to my desired viewing angle easily. Yes, is it a tad more expensive that most mounts, but most other mounts do not allow access to the set once is in put up on the wall. A major plus for me and the ease of operation. My questions to you is: Would you want to mount your new $$$ TV set to a cheap mount or spend some extra case for a solid mount?

You get what you pay for with this mount.
My company installs TV's so we are always on the lookout for the best mount that offers ease of installation that is compatible to most sets, at a good price. Although this mount does cost more than most inexpensive wall mounts, you get much more for you money with the tilt down feature of the mount. One person can hang a TV and wire it up with minimal effort. The home owner now also has the ability to add additional sources like Xbox Wii etc. on their own at a later date, by just tilting the TV down to its 90 degree position and connect the cables. You also have a much easier time placing the power and low voltage boxes behind the set as the entire wall is available, unlike most rectangular brackets that only give you a couple of square openings to fit your boxes in.
