Good tool for home reno and more
Solid cut out tool from DeWalt. The quick change system has worked very well for me, never having a problem. The fact that it's cordless makes it REALLY convenient, allowing for quick working around a room, especially since your power is probably turned off. I wouldn't say it's the fastest or most powerful cut out tool, but as long as you use a good bit and apply "Slow is smooth, smooth is fast", you'll find it working well. Great value for working with drywall, but can struggle at times with paneling, but can still get the job done. Zero regrets on this investment. Keep in mind that if you're damaging outlet boxes, most likely you're using the wrong bit or have the depth way off. A tracing bit makes the job way too easy.

Convenient little tool.
Convenient little tool. Works well for its intended purpose of drywall cut out. Especially like the keyless shank. Also use it Dremel style. I ordered a quarter inch sleeve so I can put my quarter inch router bits and Dremel bits into it.I've been using it quite a bit for foam and steel work. Stone bits work really well with this. I use it for the heavy duty stuff but the intricate details still need a Dremel.Battery life seems pretty good. Went all day on a 4 amp hour. Never ran the battery to empty. So I really don't know how long the battery is actually last.Great value when on sale.

Awesome
This tool cuts wood, plastic/vinyl, drywall materials, everything I have put it through so far. Rotary tools are difficult to keep straight to begin with, but with practice, I have gotten pretty good at using this tool. Weights will vary with the battery that use, so the smaller 2ah batteries will cause less fatigue, but for longevity, larger batteries keep you moving without having to change and charge the battery as much. I’m currently using Rotozip bits, they fit fine, haven’t gotten a chance to try other brands yet. It’s worth the money as long as Dewalt doesn’t continue this Quality hit or miss standard they have done over the past few years. Mine is awesome

Another tool I wish I had bought when I first saw it.
I'm not an everyday drywall guy, but when I do install drywall, I go CRAZY! Yeah. Been using my rotozip for way too many years past it's lifespan. It had a cord. Always felt like a ball and chain, ya know? Lost its positive locking button years ago so I used an old worn out bit to fill the hole when changing out bits. Well, I had had enough of messing around with this and went ahead against the wishes of the Mr's and snuck this bad boy in my cart one day. Amazon, always delivers me my goods. I love my supplier. She gets me my goods quick and on time. Oh, don't get your undies in a bundle. I'm talkin' bout Amaze-on. I'm starting to think my local hardware stores don't like me anymore because of how many tools I buy from Bezos and Co. Anyway...........this thing works great, has a built-in light that comes in quite handy, and is tool-less when it comes to changing out bits. Not the greatest feature because you need a degree in physics to figure out how to operate the loosening and tightening mechanism in order to use the damn thing........buuuuuuuuut, when you do, you're golden! I'd buy two if I knew they'd be discontinuing these things one day in the near future. Well, maybe I'll hold off until they make the bit changing ordeal a little better, Idk.......

Did the job well but a little pricey!
It's a little bulky but the size does give ample room to place two hands to hold it. The motor is quick and made fast work of some outlet cut outs in new drywall. The depth measurement was very quick and easy to adjust and didn't come lose while in use. I switched to a 2amp hour battery because the 5amp and bigger would take a toll on my arms and shoulders if you have to use this up high or overhead for a long period of time.

Great tool
I’m just an amateur but this is a great tool. Little loud and the on off switch is a little stiff but otherwise it’s great to have. I like the dull pilot drywall bits. The depth gage stop seems a little cheap but overall this tool saves tons of time.

Works well.
I'm not sure what people are doing wrong with this router for the bad reviews. I've used several brands, corded well as cordless, I've never had an issue with this cordless router. I had to purchase a new one because mine was stolen but this router is a great product especially for the price. I was considering getting a Hilti to replace it but this works just fine for half the price. I ran mine for at least a year and a half with normal use for a professional drywall hanger/finisher and never had an issue, it will slow down as the battery runs low but that's only to be expected. I strongly recommend.
