Poor quality health risk!
This product has a design floor and manufacturing issues.Fault 1 The handle and main body are spot welded poorly!Fault 2 the shaft of the handle is welded on the inside of the tube! This means that when a plug of soil or turf is pushed through and you do the next the first plug will not pass through due to the shaft causing a blockage as it should do.When applying pressure down to create the holes this item was designed for.You are putting a lot of pressure on the weld. That is ok for most bedding areas but where you have a lawn with its web of roots there is a lot of resistance meaning the handle breaks the shaft goes into the tube and luckily not on this occasion your hands can be cut open by the cylinder body.

Broken!
Claimed 15 year guarantee. mine lasted 30 mins before connection between shaft and handle broke. Shoddy workmanship, won't be buying Kent and Stowe again.

Recommended.
Fantastic sturdy tool for planting smaller bulbs in borders & lawns etc. Because of its neatness & size, it creates smaller & less disruptive holes than most other bulb planters on the market.

robust and good quality
A very good comfortable to use hand tool. Edges could do with being a bit sharper as it struggles to cutr through turf. Easily remedied. A good buy

Disappointing Tool

It’s cheap but not fit for what you need it to do so not worth bothering with.
Very poor quality. I managed to make 10 holes in the ground with it before it broke. It’s not fit for purpose and needs a design change.
