The seller's description of the product perfectly matched what I received. I received the NutriBullet NB50500 Ultra in "like new" condition--not a mark on it and all original packaging and accessories. It works as expected. It's not meant to replace a full-sized blender like a Blendtec (which I also own and love). It's meant to create personal creations (smoothies and drinks in my case). It does that just fine. I use pre-crushed ice from my ice dispenser--I haven't tried full-size cubes and don't plan to). I really appreciate the quick and easy cleanup and the small size (compared to a full-size blender). Overall, the product seems well executed.

I wouldn’t have minded buying this new but matte black has been out of stock for a long, long time so, it was good to find one refurbished. The shipping was initially estimated to take ten days but it arrived in about seven days. For coast to coast shipping. it’s not bad. On the box, they make it very clear that this is refurbished. Opening the box, everything looks new. I really like the look of this model, very modern. You have to lock the cup in place before you get the operating lights so that feels pretty safe. Comparing the size to my Hamilton Beach, one can see the difference between 175 watts and 1200 watts. It’s a little loud. Measuring the sound with my Apple Watch. it tops 100 decibels - think power tools or hair dryers. But, it’s 1200 watts so this is not a surprise. It does what it is supposed to- it blends frozen pineapple and fresh cucumber just fine. Everything looked super blended after a few seconds but there were still some small chunks, small enough to fit through a bubble tea straw. So, there a learning curve but probably no different than any other new appliance. When running it, I can smell something - oil? rubber? It’s not that bad and I am hoping that it fades away with time. It’s refurbished so we’ll see. Just in case, I got the Asurion. I am happy with this purchase and would be comfortable recommending this to a friend.

Use this every morning for protein fruit smoothies. Works well with ice and frozen fruit. Its kinda loud (minus 1 star) so you may wake up others in the house when using.

I originally purchased this because I'm looking to make **crushed** ice. Not shaved, not blended… crushed. And I am amazed how difficult an ice crusher has been to find. Once I realized that this things *pulverizes* ice (and you're not even supposed to put ONLY ice into it for fear of damaging its blades or motor), I set about returning it. But then I started looking at some Nutribullet recipes, and began to see the value of such a powerful motor/blades. For me, the struggle to drink enough liquid is real, so I am now using it to regularly make smoothies that include blending lemon/lime juice, frozen berries, water and lots of ice cubes (no processed sugar at all). The result brings me back to my childhood of eating shaved ice treats. It pulverizes its contents so completely, that I can even throw in kale or spinach and not taste a bit of it. It's really an amazingly powerful machine! I didn't even know they made blenders that were this powerful, although I've been hearing about the nutribullet for years. BTW, I bought a refurbished model, and I've had no problems whatsoever. Some of the other reviews talked about leaks… I have experienced none.

This thing is a beast! As effective as our Vitamix.

Arrived today on time and I used it right away. Looks like new. Heavy, substantial. Powerful and not too loud for me. First usage produced a very smooth smoothie. No problems at all! I don't know why people are having trouble with these reworked blenders. Perhaps quality control is hit and miss. Maybe some of us just luck out. I got an extended warrantee just in case it fails after the initial Amazon return policy expires.

Solid, powerful. Worth the price.
