Sturdy and Useful
I use these staples to hold down weed cloth. If you've never used weed cloth, it's pretty handy stuff. You just spread it out on areas where you don't want weeds to grow, and they don't! I also use weed cloth in areas where I'm putting down things like pea gravel. This keeps the gravel from working its way down into the soil. But of course, in each of these cases, you need to secure your weed cloth. (It's a little like staking down your tent when you're camping.) These "Easy Gardener" staples work very well ... they're exactly the right size and and heft for the job. I tried other means of staking down the cloth when I first started, but it's best to just shell out a few dollars and get the "right tool for the job," so to speak. In this pack, you get 75 staples ... that will last me probably forever. (The staples are re-usable if/when you decide to take up your weed cloth.) I've never used the staples for this purpose, but I think they would be very handy for staking down things like bird netting, in your garden. Really, in any instance where you need to secure something fairly light to the ground, these staples would do the trick.

Super Long
These are super long so hopefully your not dealing with a bunch of stone & rocks. I cut mine off on my grinder.

Work great for me
I've used these staples to keep down the black fabric in my garden, and they work great. They do rust a little, but I've never used ones that didn't (no, I'm not an expert on garden staples). I like the 4" size; I'd have a really hard time getting 6" ones in the ground with the rocks and things that are below the surface of my garden. They rarely bend if I'm pushing them in by hand but often do when I hit them with a mallet. I just try to push them down as much as possible by hand so I can see if I'm hitting a little rock or something.

Good rust. Yes, good rust! Good quality.
Good thickness and sharpness. Easy to install. They rust nicely. Good rust sounds strange but actually helps them stay in the ground better than shiny galvanized landscape staples that pull out of the ground easily. I would recommend these over galvanized landscape staples.

Easy to use
These staples work wonderfully with the garden mat. It pierced the matting easily and were easy to push into the ground. Now, we have had some light rains recently, so the ground wasn't baked hard. But I'd thought we might have to use a mallet to tap them down, but not so. They are so far holding my germination mat on the ground despite the strong winds. I'll update this if they don't hold in the severe weather that we are suppose to be getting although I'll forgive it if we have a tornado and it lets my mat blow away.

These are ok staples for mature yards areas. Great for fresh soil.
They bend easily, rocks, sprinkler lines, and tree roots, it's straightening time. The worst part is that you can get similar staples (size and length) at your local Home Depot. Where you get 30 for 3.98 or 75 for 9.98 instead of 3x10 packs for 9.81. They will likely bend just as easily. Tenpenny galvanized nails and fender washers with nail-size holes, never bent, but if you drive it into a sprinkler line you will have a leak. I ended up going through 60 when I estimated using less than 30, which includes straightening the ones that bend. The best place I found for this type of product is ACE Hardware. Their product is stronger with a square top and you get 20 for 3.99. Great for new and mature yards.

Worked for drip irrigation tubes
We had a drip-irrigation system installed a few years ago along the path leading up to our front door. Unfortunately we have a lot of skunks in the area who dig in flowerbeds, so almost on a weekly basis the drip tubes were being pulled up from the digging which resulted in unsightly tubes sticking up and the potential for people tripping on them. The guy who installed the drip system didn't think these would make much of a difference because the soil is pretty loose and he figured the staples would just pull up with the rest of the tubing. We tried them anyway for the heck of it and have been extremely happy with the result. They've been in place for at least 2 months now and the tubes don't seem to have been disturbed at all any more.

Although they worked perfectly they were a little pricey. but I did want they fast and they arrived earlier than I expected.

I purchased these along with 25 year landscape fabric. They work well and go through the fabric into the ground easily enough. They are thick enough that they will hold up to some resistance when you are installing them. I'm sure if the ground is too hard they might bend but I didn't have any problems.

Heats up great, but the heat is concentrated in a central small spot, which is OK if you are boiling but no good for pancakes. They cook in the middle and the sides end up uncooked.

They hold down landscaping so it does not move around with wind or rain. They are long enough to hold it in securely. Will hold down temporary mini green house, shading cloth, almost anything you use in the garden. Also in the shed put into the wall and you have a holder for your tools! I would recommend these, you get 75 compare to other where you get about 10 in a box for the same amount of money.
