New CPU + GPU Cooling Fan for MSI GE66 GP66 MS-1544 MS-1545 N453 N454 PABD08008SH, GE66 10UH 10UG 10UE 11UH 11UG 11UE 12UHS 12UGS, GP66 10UH 10UG 11UH 11UG 12UGS 12UHSO (RTX 30)

I am a computer technician of over 20 years and bought this to service my own personal laptop. The model was my personal gaming laptop model MSI GE66 Raider 11UH i9 cpu and RTX 3080 gpu and the fan parts worked without issue. The only difficulty experienced when replacing my fans was getting the cpu fan screw-holes to align correctly. There was some adjustment needed as i could not have all screws in at once, rather insert one at a time and align gently as it could strip the plastic anchors. No issues after replacing, BIOS and cpu are happy. Would recommend but advise to be patient when working with those 3 really small screws that hold the CPU fan to the Radiator on each side. Also follow the youtube video for this and it will be done in an hour from start to finish.

Bearing died in six days, makes loud grinding noise and doesn't exceed 4700rpm.

It says it fits multiple models, mine was listed but screw holes don't line up with one fans. Made it work and better than dead laptop but would have preferred not having missing screws

One of the fans was too big and the screws did not align - doesn't seem to be the accurate fit for an MSI GE66. Then the other fan which was an accurate fit, was clearly "used" and not new. It was filthy and had scuff marks under the fan blades where it had been scratching along the bottom. Clearly a bad bearing since the fan is so wobbly. How have I been sent a pair of fans where one doesn't even fit and then the other is already used and 'broken'! I have a bad bearing in my current fan already which is why I was trying to replace them - yet somehow I was sent a fan in even worse condition. Considering how long I waited for these to arrive this is a joke!
