Metal Cage for DJI Osmo Action 5 Pro,DJI Action3/4/5 Pro Premium Accessories Multifunction Protective Frame Case Aluminum Housing Camera Expansion Protector

I bought this one because both sides open and give me access to the important things like changing the battery and the micro sd card on one side and you can access the charging port on the other side, it also gives you a cold shoe and several 1/4 20 options unlike the one that came with mine. I would recommend this one to anyone that has the Dji osmo action 5 pro camera. Well worth the price. I think the buttons on this make it easier to activate the camera. I could just go on and on. The only thing I would change is I would have made the bottom of this cage the same way they did on the one side with the quick release connection and a 1/4 20 connection. If there was any nitpick, I could find about this product is they should have added a quarter 20 on the bottom instead of leaving that open then that would make this the perfect action camera cage.

This case feels sturdy, it opens on both sides which is so cool, it has a cold shoe mount which is so cool, this is a great buy to protect your Osmo Action 5. It also came with screen and lens protection, which was a lovely bonus. I'll be telling everyone about this.

Exactly what I was looking for! I take photos and video on construction sites and wanted a sturdy cage for my Osmo Action 5. This is perfect! Both sides open so you can change batteries and access the memory card and power supply. The buttons for power and recording are easier to use than the factory buttons which makes it easier to turn on and off as well as quickly activating the camera. Great buy!

Love it fits the DJI action 5 pro perfectly. A little heavier than oe but will protect the camera if you drop it or bump it. I use it to film skateboarding if that tells you anything. As mentioned it’s heavier than the oe so if you use a telescopic stick, get ready for a work out. Not a bad thing just letting you know. Work perfect on handles and even has spot for accessories on top. All ports are accessible great design. Don’t waste time and money on others. This Action 4 and 5 cage from Amazear shows that the makers considered some of the missed features of the stock DJI cage. First this cage from Amazear opens on both ends of the camera, not only the right side. This is important because the battery is located on the left side of the camera so if you want to replace the battery without having to take the camera out of the cage, you can do so. The other feature of this cage is that the buttons that turn on the camera and start/stop recordings have a spring to them. The stock cage has buttons that are made of a rubbery material that doesn't feel as nice as the buttons on this cage.Great product.

The media could not be loaded. I'm super happy with the quality and fit of this camera cage. Just being able to access both sides and change sd cards or batteries is awesome.I'm ordering another one for my action 4 tomorrow. I'll be installing screen protectors tomorrow and hopefully it doesn't obstruct them in any way.The stock one from dji probably would as it sits closer to the edge of the back screen. I'll update my review if I have any problems.

This cage worked better than the stock one that came with the action 5 pro. You can access the battery and SD card without taking the cage off the camera like the stock cage.
