9.99 gbp at time of my review.. not 29.99 as seen in another review.
I saw someone else said these were 29.99, they’re 9.99 when I’m reviewing them, which is a reasonable price. These work as expected, no issues to report. Pretty standard, straightforward to install (but I do have some experience with installing these). Latch works fine, all of mine were ok. No issues here. These are a specific item, so make sure you know how they work before buying, they do what they’re meant to do. 5 stars.

Does the job
I'm a keen DIYer and woodworker and ordered these for cupboards in my workshop. In a dusty workshop I wanted some cupboards to close reasonably securely to keep the dust out. But being in workbenches with power tools on top, I don't want door handles sticking out.Packaging is no-nonsense as you'd expect. Two catches, two metal strike plates, two small packs of colour matched black screws.Quality on the latches is... okay. They're plastic, don't feel great, but they're functional so no real complaints.I installed them and the mechanism is working as expected so far. They're fitted so the cupboard door is flush when touching the latch, but without a door jam too close so they can go in a few mm when pushed. The door then pops out, and you can grab the edge and pull it open. The only negative with this design is that the whole thing sticks out from the frame when open, so on smaller cupboards that might be in the way and you might catch yourself on them. It's an issue with any catch of this kind of course, not specific to this brand.I don't really get the magnetic function - it's somewhat logical if you're using normal old fashioned hinges, but these days everything is 'euro hinges' which are sprung and self closing. So the magnet doesn't add much value, and these work just as well without the metal strike plate. All in all I think 4 stars is fair. They're good enough for a workshop but not the nicest looking for fine joinery.

Good magnets

Great
These are great if you have the right type of cupboard door for them. They are advertised as 'without nail installation" but come with screws if you need them. For most clean and flat surfaces, the enclosed sticky pads would probably be strong enough to keep the magnets in place. These are the strongest ones I've come across so certainly live up to their description as Heavy Duty. I'm happy to recommend these.

Don't work
Two of the four latches in this pack worked perfectly. Two refused to open in approximately 4 pushes out of 5; one stubbornly remained shut through 16 pushes. I don't want to be pushing my cabinet doors that many times to get them to open. They won't be incorporated into my project.Be aware, too, that these will never work on cupboards and drawers with an existing "stop" (ie, 99% of under counter kitchen doors) as you need to be able to push them in a bit to release them; if your door is sitting against an existing stop you obviously can't push it in any further, so the only way these latches will work if you have them sticking out beyond that stop, meaning all of your doors will protrude at an angle when closed. Basically, you will have to remove any existing stops and replace them with these; since the carcase of most kitchen units provides a stop around all of the edges of your doors, that's essentially impossible. I haven't knocked any stars off for that; it's a fact of life with this type of latch and just something you need to be aware of before you buy.But four stars off for not working in the first place. Rubbish - and at £29.99?
