Item exactly as described and delivered very quickly.I am extremely impressed by the playability, construction, and overall quality of this horn.I've been playing in bands for over 50 years. I love it, and my colleagues are impressed.Don't be off-put because it is Chinese made.

im a beginner, play all through high school, now i played at church and wanted an affordable trumpet that doesn't get the valve stuck when i play, and this trumpet is it. quality is good, play alot better than the 200 dollar trumpet i got at Sam's club.

My Olds Special, bought in 1963, is a better quality instrument. But, this Roy Benson RBTR402C, is OK. It has a little better tone than I had expected. {My expectations were not high.} I could not afford a better quality instrument. If you can afford it, go for a better horn.

I bought this trumpet because it was convertible to B flat or C. It is definitely a student quality trumpet but I haven't played horn since the fifth grade until fall of 2013 when we rented a Yamaha from local shop for my fifth grade son to use. The Yamaha seemed a little better quality but was b flat only. The RB sounds good to my non-professional ear and all parts work correctly and look good. I had a little problem with the valves and slides moving until I used valve oil and slide grease on the appropriate pieces. This is the first brand new instrument I've bought so that may be normal or not. I read in another review that this horn may not have been looked at by a technician since it left the factory.

Great trumpet for its price

This instrument has a decent sound for the price. It works well as a C trumpet for those players who don't like to transpose, e.g. church hymns. For those persons interested in only the Bb trumpet, I would recommend purchasing a dedicated Bb instrument.
