ZEFR Recon 42" Bodyboard/Leash Indestructible Will Never Peel Apart or waterlog

I'm excited to try this thing out. I've tried body boards in the $16- $60 range and have never found anything that lasted very long. Decided i'd try higher quality board and this one caught my eye as it seems solidly put together. Sadly it's 18 degrees F here right now, so I won't be able to put this through the paces for a few months, but I'm super impressed from seeing it in person and have no doubt it will end up being a great value for the price paid. I'll update if anything changes

This board would of been perfect if it had the following : at least one streamer, and a slick bottom. The streamer would of given it extra strength, and the slick bottom would of given it more zip on the waves. Other than that, it's the perfect board for someone who wants to go to the beach and have a good time.

I break body boards every year. No longer. My first Zefr board has lasted two seasons now without a whimper. I have had to buy two more because my kids and grandkids hog them from me when they come down. You might be put off by the price but you get what you pay for.... every penny’s worth!

The board was a birthday gift for a friend who lives in Hawaii. She loves it!

Great board! We have a beach place and I’ve been through I don’t know how many boards in the last 20 years or so. This one is the best by far! Super sturdy, doesn’t bubble, and no glue to worry about coming apart. It’s light weight enough and handles the waves great! I read on here someone complaining that it doesn’t have a slick bottom (insert eye roll here). The slick bottom makes absolutely no noticeable difference to speed, it’s really just a sales gimmick. I will say the top will get some dents, dings and paint loss because of what it’s made of (which the company informs you of up front), but it doesn’t hurt the integrity or structure of the board. If you’re tired of buying a new board every couple of years, then this is the one for you! Just make the investment!
