Easy to understand and make.
I have limited use of my hands through arthritis and found this easy to understand, a bit fiddly but fun. Kids love to play with it and it's still standing even with a 4 year old playing in every room. It has 3 levels of how to make it. Easy -just cut out and stick 2- make with a few hidden extras and 3- with movable parts. I tried 3 and failed at a few parts but still works perfectly.

Hauntingly brilliant
What a super product. Beautifully printed on sturdy paper. Beautiful artwork and easy-to-understand instructions. Basic and advanced options to suit most skill level. Children (6+) will love it, but only and always with adult supervision and assistance. Do it as an evening project, an hour or so per night to wind down, and it will take about 6 weeks.

Attention to detail.
Thought this would be great for older gran kids. But it was far too fiddly. I spent 4 evenings putting it together. Some of the patterns didnt match up so well, like the upper walls to the attic flooring. The card was more like heavy paper. Which ment things would over bend. The patten was great. Lots to see and there were 3 difficulty levels. This was why I bought it. There are some cheeky jokes in the detail too. I've made things like this before and have been able to light them. This one I was unable to as it's to flimsy. Gluing room wall to room wall, helped make the structure sturdy. There can be moveable parts. I didnt do those. My grandkids loved it. I have it on the windowsill along with other Halloween decorations. Also the roof had ready to cut holes to look through. I made more holes and made the existing holes bigger, just so you can see the detail with in.10 out of 10 for detail. 7 out of 10 for quality of material. 5 out of 10 for ease of assembly.I would make others if there was more in the series. The house is small which makes it difficult to manoeuvre around inside it.

Fantastic Model
I bought this as a little project, as I love making paper models and have been so happy with the result. So many small details and the model fits together perfectly. Took a few evenings and definitely not for children to attempt alone, well worth the purchase price.

Less grand designs, more DIY SOS
Ok- I’m pretty skilful when it comes to paper craft. And trust me when I say this is so far from easy, you can’t even see ‘easy’ on the horizon. I bought it thinking my kids could do it 😂😂😂Armed with a craft knife, cutting board and glue gun, I anticipated it might be a bit of a project…and boy was I right. It took me well in excess of 8 hours to create. And I use create in the loosest sense of the word. Despite my keen eye for detail and precision glueing, it frankly looks like it’s had to withstand multiple earthquakes. The instructions were incredibly poor. The pages needed to be perforated. It genuinely needs quite a lot of improvement for the price. To be fair, the finished result (whilst far from perfect) is quite fun. The kids enjoyed discovering all the little hidden details. That was however, short lived. I’d suggest the effort/price/reward ratio is pretty off…If you do decide to take the plunge, I’d give yourself a VERY substantial time frame to build it in!

Clear Explanations
This is a great idea for older children and adults. It would be just right for an October half term project ready for Halloween. I found the instructions clear and easy to follow. You can lower the creepy factor by leaving some of the fixtures and fittings out.I was able to read an advanced copy of this book thanks to Netgalley and was able to easily envisage making it with little or no problems.

Intricate
Produces a great house with lots of surprises hidden inside it. Unless you were the constructer!
