Great knife for the price. Came sharp enough to use right out of the box. I worked on it a little more and produced a fantastically sharp edge, just the way I like it. The leather sheath is good quality, very sturdy; though it is a Scandinavian style sheath which dangles loosely, but a good sheath, nevertheless. The knife geometry is that of a very utilitarian blade, suitable for camp chores, food prep, hunting, fishing, skinning, field dressing, & simple butchering. The steel is S30V, a premier steel for knives. This steel is tough, holds an edge, & takes an edge relatively easily. It is considered to be a high carbon stainless steel, the best of both worlds. Some websites claim that it is the best steel to use for knives. Al told this is a good-looking knife; as well as being a great field tool. When you factor in the price, less than $30, not including tax, it is a great purchase. You are making a mistake if you do not order this knife. Don't think twice, just get it. You will not be sorry.

Absolutely beautiful knife. Very well made and definitely high quality. Came out of the box razor sharp and definitely heavy and strong enough to do pretty much all bushcraft. Very impressive Regal Edge. Well done boys.

Very well made knife, but not made of S30V steel. It came with a decent fake leather sheath, and was sharp right out of the box. unfortunately it was also rusty right out of the box. Was hoping for a killer deal on an off brand knife, but probably paid a little more than it's actually worth... oh well

I wish I could leave 3.5 stars for this knife. For the price, I'll give it 4 stars. Out of the box, it looks nice. The handle looks great and the whole knife doesn't have any nicks, dents or marring anywhere. But this knife is not ready for work. It is dull. Additionally, the bevel is uneven and it's rough. IDK how long it's going to take me to even the bevel and sharpen, but it's going to take a bit. Knowing what I know now, I'd still buy. Just don't order this knife last minute before needing it.

Holy moly are you talking about a nice knife! I got this in the mail today and I'll tell you right now this knife is made very well, the wood handles are nice and sanded smooth and the contours fit the blade very well, and the blade is very thick with a full tang design, this would be very good for chopping wood as well as cutting anything that you might have around the campsite or your backyard barbecue, if I was you I would give it a try and I guarantee you will not be disappointed and the quality for money ratio! If you was to try to buy a better knife you would have to spend twice or three times the money that you will on this one, take my word for it folks it's a good knife for the price and I plan on buying another one, maybe even for a friend 👌

It's a really nice knife. I can't tell if its S30V steel, but even if its not, its a good buy. If it is S30V, its an incredible buy. Most knives that are S30V cost over $200. I have a S30V knife and this steel looks similar to my other knife. The knife, I received, didn't have any quality control issues, it was well made. I love the well crafted walnut handles. I am very happy with my purchase!

It's a very thick knife but it cuts surprisingly well. I've used it on the grill and to cut my streaks and it works great. Sharper than I thought when I initially unboxed it.

Heavy duty, well made knife and sheath. Slightly rough but high quality steel and construction. Incredible value. The sheath is worth almost as much as the combined cost....
