A great very easy drinking Merlot
A great very easy drinking Merlot, not forward on the senses but really rather calm. The after taste I find most interesting, Sun Tzu said "A strong front leaves a weak rearguard" although his book was on the art of war one can make a similar comparison to this wine. A wealth of flavour to start but it does not dilly dally on the palate leaving ones taste buds impartial to the next encounter (what ever that may be).

Typical smooth merlot. Probably best not to drink 3 bottles in succession
The first bottle was really nice and smooth, rich with berries and dusky caramel. The second bottle seemed to have less definition, also appeared to evaporate quite quickly. The third made me feel quite ill and I ended up reliving the flavour on the way back out. Probably shouldn't have drunk them all in the same hour.
