We bought this for our new puppy. He was weaned from mum and eating food, but we wanted to give him a little extra due to him being so small. He's still waking up at 5am and has some milk. It mixes well, we make 200ml at a time which lasts him a day. It does settle a little bit over time so needs shaking/stirring before putting more out. He definitely prefers the taste when its warm. Has a vanilla smell to it.

We got a new puppy so needed some milk and when we saw this for the price we were surprised at how much of a great value it was this lasted us for a long time much longer then bottles and a lot cheaper too. Its really easy to make up and the puppy loved it really good for helping them wein off mum and finally stop drinking milk all together. Good buy

Very good value for money compared to the prices of the smaller containers! Depending on litter size this may last a few weeks. I have 8 puppies and this lasts around 2-3 weeks depending on amount of feeds!

I needed this in a hurry as my previous delivery (from elsewhere) was delayed. It came the next day! Which was perfect as the delay meant I had run out of milk. Also the price is the best around! Way cheaper than anywhere else and with prime I got it delivered for free the following day, despite ordering it last thing at night! Can't get better than that! My pup's love this stuff and mum loves it too! It is perfect for nursing mothers and lactating mums too! All 9 of my 5and half week old pup's have been on this since they were 3days old and are thriving! ( mum developed eclampsia and we we're instructed to immediately have her stop feeding the pup's). Prior use of this would have help aide her to avoid eclampsia. So I would recommend giving it to your pregnant mum during her 3rd trimester as least. And continue to give while she is lactating, as it has all the vitamins and minerals that her body will need, to support and sustain feeding her litter. Especially if it is a large litter! I've defo learnt my lesson after failing to do this😔😢 The pup's LOVE this milk and enjoyed being bottle fed and now love lapping it up from a bowl. I also add it to their kibble to assist with the weaning process! Pup's are gaining weight and hitting all milestones in this stuff. I will now exclusively only purchase this 2kg lactol from this supplier! The price is amazing and delivery was excellent. Best and only place to get lactol! Don't waste money on a smaller size, get the 2kg tub and have it last a little longer and you'll save a lot of money in the long run!

We initially bought a small box of Lactol as part of a puppy pack and have been very happy with it. Our puppies did not develop any problems, no upset tummies or runny poos whatsoever. The product mixes fairly well and as we have worked out, it is best to use the same method as we use with instant gravy - measure dry product into a jug with a small amount of tepid (filtered) water, mix well to a smooth thin paste and then add hot (not boiling) water (factor in the initial amount of tepid water)- this way we get a lump-free mix. The prepared milk has a pleasant smell and good consistency (not runny or thick) if prepared according to instructions. Our puppies are eager to finish off every serving and have grown really well despite their mum not having enough milk for all of them. Deliveries have been fantastic (appreciate this may vary if bought from a different seller on Amazon) - we wanted to avoid over-ordering hence had to keep ordering more so not to run out. Deliveries were always on time or even earlier that projected.

Op advies deze puppy-melkpoeder gekocht. De pups hebben het nog niet nodig maar de moeder heeft er smakelijk van genoten. Het was het eerste eten, brokjes geweekt in verdunde puppy-melk die ze in drie dagen smaakvol tot zich nam, super!
