Platinum Connector RJ45 Cat6a/6 FTP snap in clips with Boots (50 count each) - pass through makes connector assembly much easier and less prone to miss-wiring

We have been having trouble finding a shielded RJ-45 connector for a certain type of outdoor rated CAT6 cable we use. According to the cable manufacturer, the copper strands are 22 gauge, which none of the shielded RJ-45 connectors online should be able to fit. It didn't make sense to me. so I purchased your connectors, and they seem to fit. They may be a little tight, although it still works.

I was surprised at the ease of inserting the wires into this connector. I’ve always had struggles with other brands. I will use these from now on.

Connectors were well made and easy to use. No problems. Boots were soft and allow easy removal of connector when needed. Good solid connection when plugging into equipment.

Good quality connectors at a reasonable price.These pass-through connectors work well, although I don't use the EZ style crimper on them as they are intended to be used. I find it works better to push the wires through just a little further than required, clip them off with a precision wire cutter, and then pull them back into the connector and crimp as you would a normal non pass-through connector. Even when doing them this way, the pass-through does help to easily double check that all wires are in the proper order before crimping.If you need shielded connectors these are worth a try.My only complaint is that the "clip" on these are a bit too close to the body by default and does not provide a secure snap in to RJ45 ports. I've had to bend the outwards a bit each time to make sure they will latch.

I do and have made network cables for many years. I have never used these and thought I would give them a try. Unfortunately they do not perform. There are several issues: 1. POE the little wires sticking out seem to cause problems (When you can get all 4 pair working) 2. I have only been able to get pair#1 to connect on one of the installs and that caused POE issues. If you cut the wires and pull them back you can avoid the POE issues. 3. the fit seems off - the one cable I did get work I could make disconnect if I just wiggled it a little in the socket. Overall I can't recommend these.

fits larger gauge rj45 wires.

They are awesome! This is the first time I have purchased and used this type of end for Ethernet. I tried it on Cat 6a and it doesn’t work to well. The wire overall thickness it just a little too big.

These are really nice connectors just one problem it's nigh impossible to get cat6a s/ftp 23AWG cable to push through them. I've had a nightmare of a time finding the correct terminators for this cable. Using this same connector for standard cat6 no probs perfect and really easy.. but don't even try it if you have the cat6A solid core 23AWG you'll be spending hours of frustration and still end up with a non-functioning cable.

Ich habe viele andere Hersteller und Typen an Steckern ausprobiert und bin bei den Platinum Connector Shielded RJ45 CAT6 Steckern gelandet. Super einfach zu nutzen und mit einer ordentlichen Zange (Knipex) sind alle Verbindungen schnell und sicher gecrimpt. CAT6 1GB/s läuft damit einwandfrei. Mit den Steckern hatte ich auch kaum Ausschuss - sobald man den Dreh raus hat, gehts im Akkord.Leider sind die geschirmten CAT6 Stecker bei Amazon seit einer Weile nicht mehr verfügbar. Ich würde sofort nachkaufen!

Trovo fantastica l'idea di un plug "passante": dopo almeno 1 anno che non crimpavo cavi ethernet devo dire che mi è riuscito alla prima!!! Sarebbero perfetti se avessero un linguetta metallica per ancorare meglio il plug al cavo che peraltro faciliterebbe anche il contatto con il filo ground. Molto soddisfatto.

Very good, I'm always going to use these over traditional rj45 clips now. They are so much easier to do, although they do require a special crimper!
