We use this to check our ears if they are sore. Not a substitute for the doctor, but we can see if there's fluid behind the eardrum that needs professional help, or just ear wax that needs to be washed out. Better still, you can check your own ears, which is physically impossible without a tool like this.

Would love to give it 5 stars, but it only being compatible with mobile devices is a disappointment. Initially plugged into Win11 PC only to realize it's not compatible with MS Camera app.That said, this unit probably has the best picture quality of any usb otoscope I've tried. Crystal clear photo and video. I just wish it had a brightness control, but that's not a deal breaker.

I get this for gifts for people, it's so interesting to be able to get a good look in your ears or nose. My daughter had many ear aches and this helped us to grab pictures and better understand what's inside.

Good bright image for checking ear canal and ear drum. However, IMO, don't expect to remove wax with this system. Navigating the scraping tips accurately is very difficult and risky. Take a look and if you see excessive or hardened wax see a professional for help.

Anykit's ear camera does what it needs to do, but the accessories are pretty bad. You're better off using this thing as a camera only.The app required however is a total invasion of privacy. It asks for tons of phone permissions it has no business asking beyond camera and storage. The app required is called Xscope.Lots of google play reviews are afraid it is spyware.If you are going to get this, be aware that it uses a chinese app. Only keep the app on your phone as long as you need it. Then uninstall it asap.

I needed this for a virtual appointment, and it did the job. It’s comfortable and relatively easy to use with my iPhone, but the app isn’t the best.

This thing is amazing. You plug it in your phone and the link to download the app comes up. It is so easy to use and the image quality is fantastic. I have recommended it to all my nurse friends and they got one too. Best purchase in a long time.
