Super cool
My kids (3 and 1)love this book they love the interactive part of it putting their fingers on the circle to pick up min. We have been using a digital microscope to look at all types of things super close up so this really brought it all together in a fun educational way.

Great book to teach kids about germs
This is a funny and informative book to teach young kids about germs. I bought this book to use in my kindergarten classroom and the kids love it. You take Min the microbe on an adventure looking closely at germs and how they are spread. It does a nice job of showing how gross germs are but also keeps it cute and silly for young readers to understand and stay engaged while also allowing for deeper discussion. I incorporate this into our science lessons about germs and how they are spread.

Great explanations and interactive
I'm a nurse and I use this book for teaching kids in classrooms about germs. With the spread of Coronavirus it's important to understand how germs spread. This one gives amazing photos of common surfaces and has great explanations of germs. I covered certain pages where you touch the spot with clear packing tape to make it easy to use a wipe for sanitizing (since it encourages readers to interact with the pages by touch). Super fun book to read.

Cute book
This is cute book. Sadly, my daughter still isn’t understanding about germs. Lol. Hopefully she will soon.

Interactive and funny
My 6 yr old daughter loves this book and would often read it and laugh to herself. It's interactive, though probably not too desirable during Covid. But I like how it introduce the idea of microbs and germs to kids, in a way which they can see and interact with.

Amazing
Purchase this book along with another to help my classrooms learn about germs. The kids love seeing the germs in the book and that you can lick a spot on the back. They did not want to lick the book. We also did an experiment learning about handwashing in our class. They have been really working on washing hands now.

Cute, funny and educational
I am now working on my graduate degree in Epidemiology. I bought this for my 10 and 8 year old granddaughters. They loved it! But I believe that the vocabulary was not consistent. It was for both under 10 years old and also older than 12 years old.

Engaging, fun and educational. This teacher recommends!
Fantastically engaging book for teaching about germs (including how normal they are) and keeping clean. My year 2 class are crazy about Min the microbe! Absolutely fantastic book and I can't recommend it highly enough! This book is about Min the microbe who live on the page of the book. You touch the book to pick her up and she travels to your teeth, clothes and belly button, meeting other microbes. Really clear message about how germs spread, and very good object choices to emphasise cleaning teeth, clothes and your body, as well as washing hands after touching things. Very well thought out. The zoomed in pictures of objects up close are interesting too!

An awesome, interactive book!
This book is so incredibly clever (and in the time of a pandemic, more relevant than ever)! It will certainly make you more conscious of what is happening when you touch your face, your shirt or anything else. It's smart science, condensed into kid-friendly content, with the cutest cartoon illustrations and impressive microscopic photography. It's funny, interactive and educational: the children's book trifecta. Plus, I LOVE that bright yellow cover.
