I used to use plastic toothbrush storers:/holders over time due to the moisture and for being plastic they would pick a a weird moldy smell with no visible mold and overall grosses me out. I decided to invest in these aluminium ones and tested them out on a weekend trip. I can concur that they did not pick up any smell the containers also have enough ventilation for any water to drain out . Obviously please wash after every trip but they are definitely worth it as a reusable container!

As is apparent in my video, you can clearly hear the ‘ting’ sound of the metal on metal vs. the metal against the actual plastic item.Perhaps these reviewers received another item made of plastic & were being truthful, but if you’re playing games through the sharing of dishonest reviews, that ruins the credibility & premise of Amazon reviews as some of us shop according to honest feedback on information from others who’ve purchased these items.To anyone considering purchasing this aluminum toothbrush case, not only is it made of metal, & not plastic, I also demonstrated in my video, the security of the lid closure as well.I hope my honest feedback in written opinion, audio & visual exhibits assists someone else attempting to determine the validity of this product. Below is my original review.•••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••I try my personal best to not purchase anything plastic.personal practices aside, it’s incredibly difficult these days to find anything in travel containers NOT made of plastic, and even more challenging finding them functionally strong while looking good.I had a travel set made of aluminum and silicone I had purchased at a Wegmans Grocery store from 10+ years ago that was lost with everything else in Hurricane Helene but the lid was separately attached and would come off during travel.I had replaced my old set with a silicone topper for the toothbrush but it wasn’t secure; kept getting yucky and then fell off one day and I haven’t found it since.I am so happy to find this aluminum travel toothbrush holder to keep my toothbrush clean inside. It looks nice and fits inside my leather train case (shown behind it in pictures) along with my favorite tooth powder. It closes securely with no separate lid to get lost or allow debris inside either.I’m considering purchasing a second one to store away in case I ever lose this one because finding quality toothbrush containers is a challenging process these days.

4 stars because I think there is a design flaw. The air holes are on the bottom therefore the tooth brush truely can't breath to prevent mold growth. If you flip it over so holes are facing up then dust gets inside. I bought it to prevent dust and dust mites from getting on my tooth brush. Dor that purpose holes in the side would work best.It is well made and serves the purpose of a travel case. The metal is very light weight.

This is a top quality metal toothbrush holder for use on the go, at home, or at the gym like I do. It’s the perfect size to hold your toothbrush. I love the sleek and functional design. Very simple and easy. Its value for your money is debatable. I chose the more expensive blue over the cheaper silver because blue is my favorite color so I had to have it. I normally get plastic toothbrush holders but decided to try metal and I’m very happy with my decision.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Because I wanted a strong case, to put in a granddaughters bag.

Excellent case for tooth brushes. I use it at work to brush my teeth after eating lunch.

As advertised. Nice quality.The item has ventilation holes on the bottom, so you can't put it on a wet surface in the bathroom. It would be better to add small bumps on the bottom, to raise it slightly.

Case holds up really well and is easy to open/close. Sleek look and easy to clean.
