A cosy brew with gentle spices
These Chai tea bags bring a harmonious blend of black tea mixed with comforting spices, including gingery notes alongside hints of cinnamon and cardamom – a lovely choice for warming up on those cold evenings by the fire. The aroma released while brewing is inviting, though it's slightly subtler than traditional chai blends. Believe me when I say you'll be left wanting if you're expecting the same flavour of chai Tea from your high street coffee shop. The flavour certainly leans on the milder side, making it particularly approachable for those new to exploring teas. It's worth adding milk and making a chai latte - once again, you'll be left wanting but it's decent enough for a home made brew. It paired beautifully with a slice of homemade fruitcake. I appreciated the eco-friendly packaging which aligned with my sustainable values.

Not a fan
Easy to use and prepare. I have given the 3 stars as the tea appears to be of good quality but unfortunately the taste is not for me. I find the cinnamon and clove taste quite strong.

Tasty Brewed with Milk Too
These make a really nice cup of chai tea.First time for us trying this type of tea, but we both really liked the flavour of this, a subtle warming spice, and actually prefer this one now.Brewed for a couple of minutes as we don't like it too strong, it makes a tasty cup. We also tried it with milk instead of water as suggested and this was also another enjoyable drink. We will get these again, so happy to recommend this multipack of 420 teabags.

Very weak
From a very well branded company, this is very disappointing. Their standard tea bags have better strength in their tea and somehow they have spoiled it by adding the spices into this. Also, the amount of tea per bag is half of what your normal get, so it's very weak. I've had to put 2 tea bags in one cup to get similar strength.Over to the spices now, it has some level, but nothing like you think you'll be getting. You get a strong hint of cardamom, but very little ginger and rest is non-existant.For a pack of 420 tea bags, currently priced a shy over £23, it's way over priced for the quality you receive.

Really nice. Rich and flavourful.
What a pleasant change from my usual cuppa. These have a really nice, smooth spicy edge to them, which doesn't overpower the delicious PG tips flavour of the tea. It instead provides a really complimentary lift in flavour that's rather moreish.I've tried making with only milk and also as usual with a splash of milk at the end (so mainly water0 and I can say that the milk way is nicer, but less refreshing. I took a cup of skimmed milk, heated it in a pan with the bag in from cold, once up to nearly simmering I turned the heat off and left the bag to 'stew' for a bit, then served sweetened to taste. The result was delicious and made such a change from what I usually would choose. The 'made with water, then a splash of milk at the end' was nice too, just not quite as opulent and I'd say a bit more refreshing, but still very flavourful. As always, the tea itself is delicious and refreshing - the Chai flavours adding a warmth that is so interesting that I think these could be a firm favourite going forward!

Good Tea But Flavour Could Be Balanced Better
This tea is quite nice and very easy to make. The tea comes in tea bags that only have to be added to boiling water and left to brew for a few minutes. Tea can be drunk with water only or also with a splash of milk.I am a fan of really nice chai tea but I can be picky about the flavour. This tea, although better than expected, was not the best chai for my liking. The flavours were not intense enough (although I kept it in water for longer than advised using a heat retaining cup), especially if I mixed it with water. The flavours were not combining well and did not leave that lovely overall warming feeling. I think there is a lack of balance of some flavours but I cannot figure out which spice or spices were off.Overall, this is a good chai tea, just not the best to my liking. The flavours were not well balanced and not intense enough to get that warming effect while drinking it.
