KS Cycling Children's Mountain Bike 24" Bliss White-Yellow 18 Gears

The bike looks great and my son really likes it however there are a few things to be aware off. Firstly if you are buying a bike with a view to letting your child grow into it this might not be a great choice- the seat can not go all the way down due to the suspension system unlike others so make sure it will fit from the get go.Secondly the cables for breaks and gears get in the way a little while riding and I am going to have to strap to the bike to prevent catching on my sons legs as he cycles.Thirdly. The bike needs work when out of box- we have had to take to a cycle shop to have set up properly as the gears ( still) don't fully function- perhaps 18' gears are too many for a bike this size? My son can't pull the gears into top gear with the grip shift as still too tight- he is only young and I can do it but again something to be aware off if a younger child.I am sure many of these things will resolve over time as my son grows but it's a little disappointing when unable to go straight from box.

A good quality bike and easy assembly if you know what your doing, if you don't for safety ask someone that does.Four stars because the only instructions supplied are in German and there are no instructions at all on how to fit the supplied mudguards.
