It's just a matter of mixing the powder with water. They suggest a 1-1 ratio, but I feel it works better with a little less water otherwise it may not solidify and allow it to be easily peeled off. Once you apply the mask you do feel a cooling and soothing effect. I did a spot test on my arm to make sure I didn't have any reaction. You just don't want to apply it to your face without testing. Nothing worse than getting a bad rash on your face because you didn't test the product. Anyhow, once you apply it, you can leave it on for 15-20 minutes and then peel it off. I noticed improved skin texture, hydration and some radiance afterwards. This made in China gel powder is supposed to be a natural formula, free from parabens and mineral oils, making it suitable for all skin types, including my sensitive skin. The price point seems reasonable for this generous size jar. Overall, I feel that this jelly mask is a reliable and effective option for anyone seeking to nourish and moisturize their skin.

followed the instructions to a T, and this face mask is just too messy for me. sticky and clumps up after it dries. not my type of mask.

I thought this Jelly Mask by Carperif would be a good alternative to single use sheet masks, but it is a little messy and I’ll be honest sometimes I am lazy I don’t want the extra step of having to mix and measure and making a mess in my bathroom. It is a good value because at 18.99 you will have this big container forever and will get plenty of masks from it. It is a good mask nothing special.
