My 12 year old daughter loves this mannequin to practice braiding hair. She loves the feel of the hair and it clamps nicely to a surface for her to work on. She said the hair kept falling forwards into the doll's face, so she simply put one of her cloth headbands around the head where a headband would go, and problem solved.

I bought this product for my tween-age daughter, who has become obsessed with doing hair. She knows so many braids, it blows my mind! She owns another hair-styling head, but it was not intended for professional use, and you can really tell the difference! This head has very long, very realistic hair. It styles nicely, and there is so much more she can do with the extra length. I love that it comes with the stand, while other products require you to purchase this separately.

I got this to practive hairstyles for my 2 year old. The head has entirely too much hair to be practical for her hairstyles or mine. The clamp does not work well on table or counter top. I hoe that high dollar clamp stand works for those who use the head.... mine is collecting dust in a corner. I can't imagine a human with this much hair on their head!

Ive used this all of 2 times, i really loved it at first, but after a couple of times braiding the hair differently it just became really REALLY frizzy.

It was what I was looking for for my 8 year old to play with. Would not suggest for any actual learning.

Works perfectly as a display for my handcrafted circlets at the events I do.
