Flash and fast
This is a fabulous quality scooter for the asking price.Although it is described as KIDS,it is perfectly good for use by any adult and I am 6ft 3in tall.It is very agile and fast.A better suspension would have been helpful but at this price one cannot grumble.I use it to commute five days a week over some poor quality pavements. It is standing up to every day use really well. The only issue is to regularly check all the bolts that keep it together as they do loosen with use.Otherwise this is a really great scooter that will give reliable and enjoyable use for a long time.I thoroughly recommend this scooter as a sound choice.

Solid, heavy, beautiful, fast scooter!
I've done a good few miles on this now. It's a heavy, solid scooter. It does need tightening up when you get it though. Once it is tightened up well it becomes much quieter and quicker. I have a micro rubber tyre on the front now which makes steering much better in the wet and dry, so no tyre slip now. I've fitted two bicycle brake pads under the rear brake which helps to improve the brakes an awful lot. Oil the suspension both front and rear to smooth it out and stop any noise there. GT85 on all metal parts and bolts and this should last a long time. Some minor cosmetic marks but for £53, it is a bargain. I have gotten 28kph or appx 17mph out of this on slight gradients. I'm sure it will go much faster on steeper hills.Looks gorgeous too.I love it.

Great value
Great scooter for my 7 year old would suit older ages too. Unfold stright out of box. Folding is quick and easy. Scooter is well build and strong. I can ride it 39 years old, 12.5 stone, I felt a bit of vibration but sure will be fine for my much lighter son. Looks good too. No complaints, great value for money...

Retailer happy to sell, not happy to support
This is a fab scooter - it really is. I am loving the fact that it collapses down. It is easy to set up. Feels solid and isn't too heavy to carry. The biggest issue I have and any buyers need to be aware of is that once you have purchased this item you are on your own Osprey will not support you. They refer you back to the retailer. The problem that I had on the three day of ownership was with the clasp tension handle that supports the height adjustment feature on the handlebars. This clasp is held in place by a nut, bolt, plastic spacer and the handle. I was unaware that this bolt works its way free with use and on the third day the whole thing came apart and all the bits fell all over the road. They are black and small and the chances of finding them minimal. I contacted Osprey fully prepared to purchase another but was told that I had to go back to Amazon. I don't want to replace my scooter. All I needed was a tiny little nut to fix the issue, I would have gladly paid for it. I knew if I sent it back to Amazon I would happily get a brand new one but the old one would be discarded - I didn't want to be responsible for creating more waste which is bad for the environment for the sake of a tiny nut. Poor, poor show Osprey. You want brand Ambassadors and would have had one here if you had provided the customer service needed to keep this scooter on the road. Instead you clearly show that all you want is your customers' money not loyalty. I will not be endorsing your products.

You is got to get one of these!!
Amaaazing! For the price, this just beats walking! These adult scooters are the way forward. I can pull it out of boot, quick unfold, get to destination within minutes and with a simple pull of mechanism fold scooter down again and carry. Excellent value, excellent quality! Very strong and solid.

Broke within a couple of months, after heavy use
My ten year old (who weighs around 33kg) broke his scooter within a couple of months. He's pretty rough on his scooters - not doing stunts, just going over uneven footpaths on a daily basis. This is the first scooter to break within such a short time period - most last him 2-3 years. There is a join in the metal to link the base plate to the front wheel, this broke pretty quickly. If you are just going to use the scooter for gliding along the footpath it should be fine. If you are going to hammer the scooter with jumps, etc, then skip this brand.Fundamentally, you want a scooter that has only one piece for the base plate. This scooter is made up of two pieces with a join, and that join can fail. There's another review on here mentioning the same thing (from another customer who's scooter bent in the same way).

A review 2 years in
So, we’ve had this scooter for 2 years now. I believe it qualifies for a review refresh. The first impression is that it’s a sturdy scooter, i use it for going to/from work (via the tube), and taxiing my 3-year-old around on short trips. so folded mechanism was a must and this scooter it’s so super easy to fold, definitely a big plus! When i first got the scooter, the strap provided couldn’t really be connected to the strap holes. I reported it to the seller, they sent a replacement strap which was exactly the same and didn’t solve the problem even a tiny bit. After back and forth, i decided to keep the scooter and got around the problem by connecting a zip tie around and scooter strap holes, and then to the strap. 2 years in i only had to replace zip tie once just a couple of months ago. It’s a good wide scooter and the deck is excellent for taxiing the kid around. But after 2 years, the bolts started getting loose. In particular, ones holding the break - leaving me almost without one on one of the journeys. And just now, the central decking started coming apart - bending the bottom and scraping every uneveness on the road (see pictures) . The reason behind this is unknown to me.But i strongly believe that a scooter should last more than 2 years. (For a reference, i’m a medium-sized female. So me+kid definitely fit within the weight limit stated for the scooter).Overall, well loved scooter, very sturdy, but disappointing development past 2 years of medium use.
